The bunny has been called Glitchtrap. In my theory, he is the computer AI of William Afton that, according to the girl on the tapes, wasn't supposed to be there. Watch MatPat's (GameTheory) theory on it. It explains it better and in more detail.

@@susanb4194 that aged well 🤣🤣 but you're right, it wasn't the real William. It was a AI copy if his personality. It took over peoples minds and hacked into the animatronics to bring himself back to life as Burntrap and escape Cassidy's hell. You can see this happening at the end of Security Breach. I assume you already know all this though considering the comment I am replying to was posted out 2 years ago; I can't really judge you for a theory that turned out to be wrong when you posted the theory before it was debunked.

Oh and also that bunny who’s name is Glitchtrap was a glitch in the code when a company was making the game and has been trying to get out to the real world ever since. He used to kill kids just like a certain someone and stuff them into suits. He presents himself to you by every tape you collect in the game he gets closer and more real. You learn more about him by the tapes and the tapes are found all around the map.
Although at the end of the game he says to follow you and when you follow him you are stuffed into a suit and then the credits roll while you are inside the Freddy suit and Glitchtrap is dancing in front of you.
Actually that's the bad ending
The real ending is where glitchtrap proably traps you in the game and takes your body to continue his killing spree if he really is William afton back from hell

it also refers to torn apart emotionally regarding the player, just like with the animatronics, the animatronics are all happy to see you but the only real danger is Glitchtrap, the only one that's not fully there
The bunny's name is Glitchtrap, in which, William Afton posses Glitchtrap as in his soul. William is trying to release himself and there are 3 endings, Pizza Party, which you get stuffed in Freddy's suit, I don't know the name but you transfer places with him, at the start of the game it says something about Digital Conscious Transference or something, and getting locked in a room as Glitchtrap fades away. In the Curse Of Dreadbear DLC in the Corn Maze, after finding all the 5 keys and getting the purple key, opening the secret prize barn, you earn a bunny mask. Going back to the actual Prize Barn leaves the mask there for you. Wearing the mask and holding the Glitchtrap/Springtrap plushie, a girl speaks. She is a Reluctant Follower which is falling Into Madness... The Reluctant Follower's name is Vanny (Vanessa + Bunny -mask-)Also, to get the endings, you must gather all the tapes to even see Glitchtrap. Glitchtrap's A.I is spread through the tapes, releasing him into the real world. I hope that cleared some stuff up! :3

Hello Christene! That bunny’s name is Glitchtrap. He’s a virus that is attached to the the VR game the company made, a digitalization of William Afton. The theory is that Glitchtrap’s suit was used to lore and kill the children, hence the 3 ending you get (Not gonna spoil it for ya, Incase you want to find out for yourself). By collecting the tapes scattered throughout the VR mini games, made by a worker that helped made the game, for guidance on how to defeat him, shall summon Glitchtrap,who will try to “swap places with you”, or simply, take over your mind, so he can get out into the real world. Another theory is that the worker, known as Tape Girl, is helping Glitchtrap (check out the Halloween update to Fnaf VR).

Glitch trap in Matpat’s theory is William Afton’s spirit haunting the game, he also does take your body no matter what ending you get. Glitch trap later in the Curse of Dreadbear DLC for the game finds a woman named Vanessa and we can find her bunny mask in the DLC. She will make a late appearance in the upcoming game Security Breach in her new costume which is a full costume and now white. She will carry on William Afton’s “tradition of murdering children as she will in the upcoming game.
