here's some food for thought: I live in Eastern Europe. I cannot identify anything that China did to affect my life. However, when it comes to the US ... I can identify the Ukraine situation in my backyard. I can identify the prices doubling in my country ever since Diaper man got voted into office. I can identify the mandatory vacs mandates pushed by the western countries that took our freedoms away locally and infringed upon the dominion we have over our own bodies. I can identify american propaganda that rotting the brains of our youths. I can identify how because of western american propaganda born in these universities is affecting my livelyhood because companies are not thrilled with employing cis white males. Ironically, all bad things that come out of the US and affect my overseas home, are things that these universities support.

@@idkgoodname NATO is a massive expansive neighbour. My country also joined NATO after the revolution in my country. You see, my country was communist and had gotten to have 0 national debt. Around that time, the iron curtain fell and we joined nato. Revolution in our country was started by a foreigner with a foreign name, that basically faded out afterwards. Timeline wise, this seemed to be coordinated in all Iron Curtain countries; that begs the question, coordinated by whom? Now we are in NATO. there are 4 million of us less in the country, and we have a mandate to bring 500 000 migrants until 2025. We are fined 20000 euros for every migrant we refuse. The country's oil got sold, but we don't know to who. 40-50% of our land was sold to foreign actors. National debt is back of course. So I dunno man ... something smells fishy

    • @idkgoodname
      @idkgoodname Před 4 měsíci +18

      @@traveler263
      > NATO is a massive expansive neighbour.
NATO is not a country, but rather a treaty in which countries agree to defend each other. There were definitely faults in its past, but generally it's used for protection against other countries, usually aggressor Russia.
      > You see, my country was communist and had gotten to have 0 national debt.
Said by whom? The government of that communist country? Every country has debt in some way or another. Usually even into billions if not trillions. Do you really think it's healthy or not artificial if it has "0 debt"?
      > Revolution in our country was started by a foreigner with a foreign name, that basically faded outwards.
Yeah, but the revolution had a lot of weight in the country, did it not (unless you choose random revolution that barely did anything, but I assume it's against communist regime)? If so, why did people choose to support the revolution? Does foreign name matter? What was the foreign name? What if the foreign name is Russian or from other Soviet states? Would that change your stance significantly?
      > Timeline wise, this seemed to be coordinated in all Iron Curtain countries
That is either incorrect or you're missing the point. First of all, are you going to ignore revolutions such as Czech revolution in 1968? Even countries in the Soviet Union, such as Lithuania, had patriots fighting since around 1945, which was when Lithuania was fully occupied by Soviet Union. Do you think other countries never resisted the regimes?
Second, you are likely talking about 1989. Do you realize that 1989-1991 was the most unstable time in Soviet Union, thus, prompting other nations to take their chances and be independent? It was around when Gorbachev was the leader after Brezhnev fucked over Soviet Union's economy upside down forcing Gorbachev to do reforms (+ nature of Gorbachev being more libertarian).
      > there are 4 million of us less in the country
Yeah, I'd imagine that would happen too if any country was forcibly communist, had wrecked economy with a totalitarian regime that watched every step and you could only realistically travel to other communist countries with same regimes.
      > The country's oil got sold, but we don't know to who. 40-50% of our land was sold to foreign actors.
Welcome to post-Soviet corruption in Eastern Europe that is being orchestrated by people who were mind-fucked by communism, likely glorify the days of Soviet Union one way or another, and glorify the shit out of money now after Bolsheviks stole everything from their country. > NATO is not a country
yes, the western expansionist paradigm is new. they don't use countries, they use treaties and corporations. my country is on paper still a country, but it's mostly foreign owned. just like Ukraine
      >Said by whom? The government of that communist country?
      Said by common knowledge TODAY.
      > why did people choose to support the revolution?
because american movies are so cool. look at Friends for example. bunch of bar workers living in a luxury appartment. the reality is that a bunch of bar workers today in the US wouldn't be able to afford paying rent ... yes oversimplification for saying: propaganda
      > That is either incorrect or you're missing the point.
All iron curtain governments were overthrown in a matter of 3 years. Many shady details in many places. Feels more like CIA ops rather than anything. Especially since they are now starving us out to protect the Blakrok assets in ukraine.
      > Do you realize that 1989-1991 was the most unstable time in Soviet Union
yes because the CIA was winning the cold war. and soon our country will be called "NATO CEE Trade zone 1" once they finish the brain drain and replacement they've been working on since they took over
      > I'd imagine that would happen too if any country was forcibly communist
Indeed, the american model works much better. Limit education & overflow the pleasure receptors so people don't revolt. Sad? Here's pizza. can't afford? here's credit card. bankrupt? here is drog and shelter that further justifies taxation of others
      > Vote for healthier minds and wait for communism-glorifying babushkas to die off.
We can only vote for the options vetted by the west. Just look at Hungary, they are trying to do it differently and they are under constant cultural and financial attack. Ultimatelly babushkas won't die off. They will just be replaced by turbans that will vote without understand the language in which the electoral campaign is run, but they will vote for the guy that promisses to bring more of them ( btw, I'm also a canadian citizen, so I've seen this successful model with Trudeau already. just go see Pierre Poliviere campagning in a turban if you don't believe me )
      > Welcome to post-Soviet corruption in Eastern Europe that is being orchestrated by people who were mind-fucked by communism
everything happening in my country is orchestrated by the west. I clearly feel this since I'm basically a western refugee, I've lived the bulk of my life in the Cold Jail country also known as Canada. leaders in my native country are only left in power if they dance the way the west tells them to. otherwise they'd get Orbaned. but that doesn't need to happen because we speak english way too well as a nation, so the propaganda penetrates deep and early here, unlike in Hungary

well, david, chinese ambassador to the philippines are doing the same thing. recently, there has been an influx of chinese students in the cagayan province of the philippines. and people are worried bcos not so long ago, a chinese nat'l was arrested by the police in his rented hometown in taguig city. this chinese has a lot of advance firearms with him hidden in the walls of his house, ballistic helmets, bulletproof vest, a china flag inside his house and a car without plate number. when the authorities were arresting him, he was fighting until he was brought in to the camp to be questioned. this chinese also called a friend and tried to bribe our police so he's also arrested.
now, bcos of this news, local gov'ts and even the citizens are worried about the sudden influx of chinese students in cagayan, which is valid, bcos said students and the school they attend is near the US-PH EDCA sites. now, the chinese ambassadors are not very happy about the government being worried. they say that filipinos are being malicious and are just hyping up the west philippine sea tensions, and perpetuating sinophobia. and tbh, i want our government to stop listening to this ambassador and just thoroughly look at the situation, bcos, another tea: there is allegedly a "degree-for-sale" going on in cagayan, involving the chinese students in question.

    1) The worst part of this was Ms. Wu being manhandled and physically forced out by a private citizen, Hongji Zou, who had absolutely no right to do so. It was a blatant crime. Ms. Wu and her group should get some good lawyers immediately.
    2) The 2nd-worst part was the Harvard police failing to come to her aid and arrest him.

I would encourage her to file charges for assault against him. The speaker is an accredited diplomat to the US. He is a perfectly valid guest. I would challenge Harvard to have speakers who can provide the truth and contradict the ambassador as part of the program. I was part of a group that worked hard and got the Soviet Foreign minister to speak at my campus in 1982. This was the height of the cold war. We also had speakers were part of the dissident movement and speakers for the captive nations. Attendees almost universally felt it was a valuable learning experience to hear the foreign minister. Yes it was Soviet propaganda but hearing it directly along with opposing views turned out well.

its the same thing on how our politicians loves to throw around communism, socialism and every other ism out there to persuade people to not vote for the other parties policies.
Remember how Universal Health care is suppose to be 100% socialism and how its bad for the general public, while other Democratic societies has Universal Health care and it has proven to be not bad for the general public at all, just bad for all the Politicians that have funds from Health Insurance companies.
China has its flaws and is in some deep shit right now as its struggling to hold on while its own people is killing its own people with expired food, fake food, and chemicals all due to rampant corruption.
