I really love the idea of a "living fence" around areas of the garden. Thanks for sharing.

For anyone with chickens…mozzies, midgies, lice etc AND snakes hate lemongrass!
I have a living hedge around my coop (and mugwort for the same reason), I also chop up the lemongrass and mix it in their bedding. We have snakes (SE QLD) but yet to see one in our coop 👍🏼

I had never thought of lemon grass as a living fence. I have all sorts of critters (opossums, raccoons, skunks) digging in my urban garden that I need to keep out. Thanks for the tip!

Hi, I love your videos and explanations, even though I live in a completely different environment (Europe). But I often miss the visual part: how far do you cut your lemongrass, how do you apply mulch, how do you use your compost, etc. Thanks for all your interesting information.

Apparently beekeepers also use lemongrass as a way to attract new swarms to a hive!

I was given a clump of lemongrass a few years ago, I've been struggling to get it going though! I have a very heavy limestone soil and while the clump hasn't died, it really hasn't grown either! Any tips?? Thanks 😊😊

I'm not sure what climate you are in, but lemongrass needs quite warm weather to grow well. It also likes moisture (but not waterlogging).

You have wild deer in North QLD?
