I had to slap a child.

I was baby sitting, I just fed them like 20
Hours ago and while I was feeding the baby the 5 year old came over, grabbed them squeezed my chest and it was instinct to swing so I did. And his mother apologized for it then took her kids home.

Child abuse- no?? One it wasn’t a hard slap, two this isn’t the first time this kid has tried to do it. Child abuse is constant hurting to a child, I read about this before I started baby sitting.
Child abuse is physical maltreatment or sexual molestation of a child. A light slap to let the child know what’s wrong and what’s right is not child abuse but light discipline, now if I were to seriously injure the child then yes it would be
