Fast Boogie Woogie inspired by Pete Johnson

- Pete Johnson has long been a hero of mine - here I use some of his ideas to make a boogie woogie called "Fast Boogie Woogie", which is on my new record "Boogie Till I Die", available from all online platforms and also as a physical CD from Antone's Record Shop in Austin TX.
This tune also contains elements drawn from heroes Jerry Lee Lewis, Albert Ammons and Dr John.
This is also in response to many requests asking for a view from above of many of my boogie woogie riffs and licks.

I grew up listening to my late father playing this kind of music downstairs...
Used to make the floor boards vibrate....fantastic! ( I still have his Baby grand piano (which his mom bought from a ship refit sale at the Liverpool docks!) Wish I could play it like that! 🤩

Been listening to Boogie Woogie since I was single-digits old (I'll turn 80 next week) and I pronounce you the best greatest for many reasons-self-taught, playing BW outside the box.
