- In this fishing video we were surrounded by Jack Fish, they were everywhere. These jetty rocks had bait fish all over them and the jacks were on a feeding frenzy. This was one of those epic moments of fishing. The beachfront had very good water clarity and it was loaded with fish. Fishing Galveston Texas this time of year you can get very lucky with good days like this!!

I was here around the same time. Ive never fished the beach ever in my life and i hooked the biggest fish of my life. I had all the right gear and right line i just didnt know what to do and how to fight the jacks. Im coming back to hopefully land one this summer
It's so hard to land them from the shore. I've lost so many over the years, they either break off or the hook pulls.

We did Eric was catching them on topwater earlier. I couldn't cast as well with them & when I cast hard they would come off. I had a couple shark hit my spoon hard with a shad on and after losing my 2nd spoon to sharks I didn't use shad any more lol

Unfortunately, our house is finished being built. So , we're moving to east Texas on the 30th. Im keeping all my rod and reels still. I can imagine fishing in our pool. Im not a fresh water fisherman. Always been addicted to the sea. Got my new buggs lures in and I'll try em out in the pool. In the beginning I would often ask myself if this was worth it, when I wasn't getting the views like I hoped. And seems like you always had great words of motivation to keep me going and stay focused. Although I'm not even close to where I would like to be as far as subs and views go, I'm still going strong with no stopping in sight. Sorry just saw this. At night I was fish sea wolf park. I would hit the Surfside Jetty too sunrise or sunset. The water is looking good too maybe wade fish the surf 🤙🏼

We just got lucky. The bait moved in, and those jacks followed. Rule of thumb when that clean water moves in, run to the beachfront, 1st couple days are always hot.

I got lucky, it's just one of those things. When you see people posting catching them on social media you have to hit similar waters nearby. Typically, they'll be in the area for a couple days or tide changes.
