Just wondering, in case you have any problems that the joint breaks while the sign is exposed to sunlight there are better adhesives to assemble that (better than cyanoacrilates or solvent cement) which are structural adhesives from 3m

Best adhesive for this is little acrylic pieces melted in a glass bottle with cloroform some days. Is much more slower that only cloroform, and less clean, but its much more stronger. Do not use ciano with acrylic, you will make It breakable

When he heats up the acrylic with hot air gun, it’s makes the actual letter not flat and leaves a mark, look at the bottom of “J”, the adhesive cover is broken due to overheating and it’s crate wavy effect, better use the bending tool for inside curves, and hot air gun on the outside, but it depends on what you prefer

Ali, your contribution has perfected this teaching process. I am a novice so may I know the bending tool you are referring to? I have just fallen in love with Power signs (PS). I make signs, however, 3D is not part of my service provision. I have received my first 2 3D sign jobs and I cannot let them go because the shift for the 3D sign is here. I have applied for a course on Laser Cutting which will start sometime in October. So I decided to outsource those jobs. I have sent a request for quotation to 2 supplies for 3 days running with follow-up calls, and no show till today. It's excuses upon excuses and promises upon promises. Maybe they will send the quote tomorrow or one of them will. I have started receiving pressure from the clients. So I decided to dive deep into CZcams and see what may come from this virtual university and walaaaaaa, the Ph.D. holders in 3D signage are here. And under few minutes the education is done with motivation from all the comment providers. I am not saying it is easy BUT I am going to do these jobs myself. I do not think I will fail. Chai! It's just about heating it to right temperature, after a certain temperature it will start bubbling up. Btw different plastics have different temperature conditions.

Good work but to heat and fire up acrylic in that way is very dangerous because it could to bubble up or destroy the material. Neither to hit up while warming because it marks and scratches acrylic. Be careful, its a delicate material
