Hello Brittani, I watched this video with my mother who has Multiple Sclerosis, and she has tried the Bioness device with her medical physicans and really enjoys how much it helps with her balance and walking. I really appreciate your review, it helped her think of the cons aswell because she looks forward to getting this device one day. I am setting up a GoFundMe for her to acquire a L300 Go someday and I just wanted to personally thank you for your time to pass on genuine personal experience and knowledge on new technology like this. I definitely see them (Bioness) coming out with an even newer, smoother design for this thing in the next 5 years considering the advancements in research they've been making with their integrated therapy system. I just want to help my mom push forward as she retains a healthy diet, regular exercise, and therapy; a device like this certainly aids in the everyday function for people with deficiencies.

I've had a Bioness for a few months, and I completely agree. I've had all of the issues except for the problem with moisture. Thanks for the tips for beach wear. I hope they make a sleeker design. The walk-aid is not as bulky.

hi I am a bioness user, unfortunatly the bad news if you need a new battery you have to purchase a new stimulation device, you just cant change the battery.I had this issue with my original L300.

Thank you for the pros. I wasn't aware of the cons as it relates to wearing the dives with pants.

I agree with everything you said about the device, especially the bulk and how hard it is to fit under jeans. Overall it's a good device. Electrodes are very expensive in my opinion. I didn't know you had to have a new script annually. I guess i will be running into that issue here soon. Thanks for the review.

Do you use this for driving?

I have used it while driving.

Yes, I totally agree that the electrodes are expensive. It's unfortunate for sure. I usually buy in a year bulk to get a small discount. As far as driving, I use the device on my non-dominant foot and so it doesn't affect my driving. A lot of time I will turn the device off while driving, so it doesn't trigger during this time.

Hey Brittani - thank you for the video. Have you ever experienced any type of skin burning or major skin irritation from the device?

You’re welcome! I personally have never experienced anything too serious. I have had mild skin irritation but nothing more than that.

I have experience with an early model Bioness for Drop Foot that required a sensor in my shoe to send a signal to the cuff to stimulate the required nerves and found it very high maintenance as far as batteries etc were concerned. I currently use a Turbo AFO I'm on my 5th one. they are good in design but I think a better more resilient material could be used and you are limited to laced footwear but it is very good for driving. How do you find the new edition L300 for driving ? Do you know of anyone who has used the knee stabilizer or where I can find a review ? Thank you

Hey! I never used the earlier models so unfortunately I can't compare, but I haven't found the device too high maintenance. It's definitely a trade off though, there is some maintenance as far as charging, replacing broken parts as needed, but in turn I can wear different shoes and walk easier on uneven terrain. As far as driving, I use the device on my non-dominant foot and so it doesn't affect my driving. A lot of time I will turn the device off while driving, so it doesn't trigger during this time. Also, I unfortunately do not know anyone who has used the thigh device, however if it's something you are interested I definitely recommend calling the company and asking for a trial. That's what I did for the L300 Go. A specialist met with me, let me try out the device for a while and answered all my questions.
