Summary:
1. Clean Your Broom: A simple way to clean the ends of brooms is to soak them in soapy water for one hour. Just remember to rinse them off before putting them away.
2. Clean Your Exhaust Fan: A simple way to clean out these exhausts is by buying a can of air and shooting the air into the exhaust fan. This will clean out the dust that has accumulated in there.
3. Clean Your Iron: In order to clean that dirt off, place your hot iron on a pile of salt, and swirl it around a couple times. This will make your old iron look brand spanking new.
4. Clean Your Couch: To ensure you’re cleaning your couch thoroughly, sprinkle baking soda on it and let it sit for 20 minutes. This will take out any stains left on the couch and leave it smelling fresh.
5. Clean Rusty Cutlery: Place your cutlery in an open container that has equal parts warm water and lemon juice. Let them soak for about 10 minutes and then softly wipe them off for shine.
6. Clean Baseboards: It’s super easy for dust to latch onto baseboards. One cleaning hack to get the dust gone and reduce the amount of dust again is to wipe your baseboards down with a fabric softener sheet.
7. Clean Liquid Messes: Next time a spill happens, pour some flour on it. This makes the liquid clumpy, resulting in it being easier to pick up.
8. Keep Your Shoes White: Put nail polish on a cotton ball and rub the dirty area of your shoes.
9. Safely Clean Broken Glass: Grab a slice of bread and press it on top of the broken glass. This will protect your hands and pick up even the smallest pieces.
10. Remove Scum From Your Shower Head: One way to get rid of the scum that forms on your shower head is to tie a bag filled with white vinegar around it. Leave the bag overnight and the next morning you will have a sparkling shower head.
11. Quickly Clean Your Blinds: if you’re looking for a fast cleaning hack then take a paintbrush and brush along the blinds.
12. Get Rid Of Rust On Cookware: When rust begins to form scrub it with vinegar until the rust comes off. Then put oil on the cookware and place it in the oven at 350 degrees an hour.
13. Get Rid Of Pet Hair: Buy some rubber gloves and damp them with water. When going around your house wipe your glove over the pet hair and watch as the hair disappears.
14. Clean Kids Toys: Next time they are due for a wash put them in the dishwasher. It will sanitize all of the germs.
15. Clean those Pesky Cleaning Sponges: Place your sponges in the microwave for 1 minute. When you take them out they are sure to be clean.
16. Clean A Ceiling Fan: To clean off your ceiling fan put a pillowcase over a blade. Pull the pillowcase toward you and all of the dust and dirt will stay inside.
17. Make A Vacuum Clean Small Spaces: At the end of the vacuum place an empty toilet or paper towel roll inside.
18. Get Rid Of Pesky Scuff Marks: Mix 1/4 white vinegar with 3/4 parts olive oil or vegetable oil into a cup. Dip a cloth into the mixture and scrub at the scuff marks.
19. Keep Your Earbuds Clean: Use a toothbrush to get into the creases of the earbud and wipe them down with a clean cloth.

@@jeanniehaselden1784 .
Don't use compressed air to clean vents! You are blowing dust towards the motor. Dust can bridge electrical components and cause a fire.
Wow thanks.
Thanks 4 lmk!!!
This video was a total let down but Possible Burning down home or causing a FIRE WOULD BE NIGHTMARE
Thank you FOR SAVING OUR LIVES!!!
I use the brush attachment on the vacuum to brush and suck the dust out.
Literally was thinking this till I read your comment 😅
Use makeup wipes or other wet wipes to clean your fan blades. This way all the dust is stuck to the wet wipe instead of floating in the air or dropping on the floor, carpet, or other furniture.
A damp cloth and spray of fabulosa will do the work too. Then drying with a clean fibre cloth.
Egg hacks:
1. Broken raw egg on floor? Dump salt on it. The salt will coagulate the raw egg making it easier to pick up.
2. Check egg for freshness. Place in large measuring cup of water. If it floats, toss it (if you miss the wastebasket, see first hack).
😂😂😂😂😂

Most definitely!
your friend fell down? don't worry, sprinkle some baking soda on him and he would not be slippery. You can pick him easily
THANKS !FOR SHARING I WILL TRY THIS! :-)
Flour to clean liquid spill. NO! You get a more difficult mess to clean. I think this is someone who has never used that tip.
I used Sodium Polyacrylate for water based spills but I wrap up the dust with a rag and rubber band
Wow these tips are amazing. I had a hole in my wall, so I used a hammer to make more holes and now the original one just blends right in. When I had a dirty carpet I simply lit my house on fire and *poof* no more stains...or carpet.
😂😂😂😂😂omg
TheDynamicContinuity lmao
TheDynamicContinuity I’m dying😂😂 this was literally the stupidest video I’ve ever watched. Waste of my fucking time.
LMBO🤣🤣🤣🤣
LOL
I dont know what is funnier, the video or the comments. Thank you all for making my night a good night *Laughs forever*
Glad you enjoyed the video and the comments. Thank you for watching. :)
The video has generated useful tips and advice from commentors 😁
OMG I started watching this since "I WAS" going to start cleaning but aside from wasting my time on THIS video, I had too much fun with the comments and next thing you know, I've watched about 30 videos with exactly the same info but those comments are hilarious!! Maybe I'll clean tomorrow??
I ain't wasting my slice of bread for broken glass. I need them for my nutella
Clean up broken glass by putting a grocery bag over the broom bristles and tying it then sweep onto a dustpan covered with a tied grocery bag also...will get all the glass...just untie both garbage bags and place with glass into a double bagged garbage bag and put in trash.
I clean houses so some of these make me laugh.
You spilled some liquid? Don't mop it, pour flour on it to make a bigger mess!!! lol
No 1: i always use vacum cleaner to clean the broom...one simple step and it's done in no time
Why is this a genius idea that somehow never occurred to me? Definitely going to do this soon!
I do this for my microwave. Put a mug of water in, put on 2 mins high, leave for 10-15 mins, then just use a cloth to wipe it out.
Use ketchup to polish the silver. Usually, 5-10 minutes of “bathing” is enough to lift the tarnish and it’s the easiest way to get the shine back.
I don’t think I will be try the flour on liquid hack anytime soon. It just doesn’t sound right 🤔
It sound like more mess to clean..
✊🏾
Must of made the video back in the day
Salt works on spills to absorb moisture without caking
Glue carpet squares to the soles of your slippers, then you'll have carpet everywhere you walk without any of the expense or cleaning time of actually having carpets
Hahaha! That's a nice one. Thank you for sharing. :)
LOL!
😄😄😄
And for an added bonus, you'll never have to step in your pets' vomit again because your cats (or dogs) can't upchuck on the carpet squares!
🤣🤣🤣
I use pledge with a swifter duster on my wood to polish and dust at the same time. It does me wonders being a new mom and finding new hacks
Years ago my uncle made silver jewelry and told us to clean the jewelry he made us with a paste made of baking soda and water. Just rub it over the piece between your fingers for a min or more, then rinse & dry... pieces come out nice and shiny like new.
That's an interesting hack, thank you for sharing. :)
You can also use toothpaste in the same way. .as a side bonus your cutlery smells minty fresh. The mild abrasives in toothpaste are great for cleaning a lot of surfaces you dont want to mar.
Using a broom to scrub the tub.i find it easier than a scrub brush which hurts my back. Or using vinegar to clean the floor it makes it spotless without using bleach.

Tip#2 . Dust fan: option - Use a vacuum cleaner with a extended vacuum wand.
I just use a swifter. Since my fan is practically over my bed I strip the bed when I'm done.
I use a soft pillow case (I’m sure any pillow case would work) to dust ceiling fan blades. The dust falls into the pillow case. Works great.
I will never understand the use of sponges. A good old fashion cotton cloth is way more practical.
It holds water better than simple cloths!
@@BestieHealth yes but holds alot more germs the cloths are way easier to use wiping stuff down that little sponge is no good for that only small little stubborn marks
i think if you sprinkle flour over a spill you end up cleaning "glue" instead of water
Lol
What I do is... I will spread news papers on that water area and left it for some time. All water will be sucked by the paper. Wet newspaper will dry soon. I don't mop. Meanwhile I do other chores..... may be useful for someone.
Right!?! I was like noooooo!!! Lol
Exactly. I thought what a sticky mess
Yes, and you know.. this video is how to do things "cheaper way"

"dip a cloth into mixture of vinegar and oil and rub scuff marks."
Shows sanding down the wood
Yeah and saying clean baseboards with a dryer sheets while showing someone cleaning them with a rag lol
Oh, but you can use the leftovers on your salad! 😂
Some of these hacks are whack. At my age, I've used the majority of them. Just remember, what is seen on CZcams or TV, etc...Isn't always helpful
Ok. I just spilled a cup of coffee on my hard wood floor. So now I'll just pour some flour on to it instead of just getting some paper towel and microfibre cloth to clean it up?!?? 🤔🤪 How very genius!
Hay I dont have total white shoes but that part that is I take a tooth brush and some liquid detergent and scrub I then spray peroxide scrub and rinse ,shoes look good
Well I don't know about the rest of you but I stay awake all night worrying about the dust on my brooms.
Oven cleaner spray for tile and grout removes years of built up stains before your eyes
Agreed
Never heard this...cool
Cleaning house and such takes time to start with, who has time to soak their broom for an hour afterward?!
Funny, I literally did #16 over the weekend, it does work. Thanks for the hacks, pretty useful
Thank you for watching! :)

Very bad idea to use flour to clean liquid.
good morning to
Im assuming they meant baking soda
Zoraida Catherine Navarro or by a maid service trying to get new clients
To clean pet hair get a swifter and attach a paper toilet. Lightly spray with water. Then lightly drag along surfaces. I do this before sweeping and it makes it so much easier.
Wow, I didn't realize other people use their brooms to sweep the floor too! So relatable and informative! Thanks for letting me know how brooms work. This was an excellent use of my time.
Glad it was helpful!
😂😂😂
After cleaning stainless steel appliances, use vegetable oil on it to make it shine
I use a paint brush for dusting things that are intricate or in small spaces.
broken glass can be cleaned with a lint roll,
Add lemon juice, baking soda, vinegar and water mix for non toxic cleaner into a water bottle only. BE SURE to BE CAREFUL when adding the first three ingredients and if the baking soda get stuck after leaving it in there just dump the water out remix and add warm water not hot WARM! It is a al purpose cleaner which means floors toilet and walls and cabinets etc. worked for me and it can be used in your house everywhere! Happy cleaning
I buy automotive Scotch guard and spray new canvas and leather sneakers before I wear them. I usually give them 3 costs. It keeps them clean and fresh. If I must get rid of mud or grease. I use Dawn and then put a couple of coats of scotch guard. My sneakers Las for years
Interesting! Are you a sneakerhead?
Bread is made to be eaten not picking glass up . please use duct tape or regular big size tape to remove small peices of glass, glitter or pet hair
It works and bread is cheaper than either of those things.
Good
Agreed that seems so wrong, literally same folder with blasphemy in my brain.
Lint Roller!😋👍
What country / audience is this targeted to? I believe we have 3 vacuums in my house. Just use a vacuum for simple, best cleaning. If you don’t have one, go get one, if your stupid, use bread, flour, or just tear out your floor till you reach dirt and you don’t have to clean... can’t get this video out of my head... nails down a chalkboard...
The hacks are great, but the background music distracts
I don't use the Swiffer wet pars,it's a waste of money. I use old Terry clothe towels. I cut them to size. I also use the microfiber clothes. When I'm finished with them I wash them in the washing machine. Wahla! There ready to use again.
You meant "Voilá!"
I like wahla
Thanks very helpful..God bless everyone
Clean the inside of a microwave chemical free. Fill a coffe mug or bowl with water. Heat the water until it steams inside the microwave. Remove the dish and wipe down with a dry rag. Repeat if necessary. Easy as can be.
Wow great idea. Thank you for sharing with our viewers! :)
Even better if you add lemon to the water
Years ago my sister tried that. When she went to wipe the micro wave her boob dipped into the steaming mug.,.. her synthetic bra held the fluid like a thermos🤕.. her left boob had 3rd degree burns!!
Vinegar and lemon juice work wonders too
@@rokimarshall1081 that's one of the most random accidents I've ever heard of! Hope she's ok now that must've been so painful :-o

Music in demonstrative, educational videos are very disturbing.
Annoying....and stupid music
You are lucky
That's probably for the best..just saying..

If you want to sanitize sponges in the microwave MAKE SURE THEY ARE SOAKING WET, or you may start a fire. Also, let them cool off before removing... they will be incredibly hot. It only takes a minute in the microwave to sanitize them. And if there's a metal scrubber side, don't microwave them, they will spark!
would soaking them in boiling water do the same thing?
So good to know all these tips ! Much thanks !
Use Bar Keepers to get rid of rust. Of course read the directions first, but this stuff is a miracle worker.
Note to self for blinds no paint on the brush 😊
When cleaning the books in the bookcase, I also use canned air to clean the exposed pages along the tops of the books... outside of course, lol! I just grab a bunch of books I've finished wiping down and stack them on the dining table, hauling them outside the back door one book at a time to blow off the exposed page tops.
That’s a great idea. Thanks for the tip! :)
Seriously? I have too many books for that. I just bought an 'as seen on tv' thing I love. It's a bundle of small tubes that fit over the vacuum hose. They suck up all sorts of dust and tiny debris.
Mahta Mouse I bought it one on clearance at Target called Dust Daddy. NewEasy.com on box? Hopefully that will help anyone who wants one. It instantly made me think of BulbHead (also an As Seen on TV company) one with more money because their videos are shown at hours people are awake too! So if interested thats the only trail Ive got. No phone BUT Distributed by OnTel Products Corp 21 Law Drive Fairfield NJ 07004.
It makes things like that easier. Supposed to work for all kinds of things you want to clean books, dust out of keyboard or drawers without taking pens out..etc. However I have not tried it yet. didnt get into that deeper cleaning yet. I dont think people knew what the heck it was and people dont take time to check stuff out.
Dusting the top of the pages does nothing to get rid of the dust inside the book. You really need to fan them from the spine so the pages slap hard and you will see tons of dust come out the inside of the pages.
Great ideas.
Glad you like them!
🤪🤪🤪🤪TURN DOWN THE FRIGGIN VOLUME!!!!!🤪🤪🤪🤪
So cleaning the fan and letting dust hit the floor is creating more work which is right but then you go on to say get a pillow case 🤔🤔 which you will have to dump the dust out and wash the pillow case that seems like more work to me. I let it hit the floor then vacuum it
Go outside, turn the pillow case inside-out and wave it in the breeze (standing upwind, of course). That'll get rid of most of the dust/dirt; then simply wash the pillow case with the next usual load of laundry. Mission accomplished! :)
Use an old umbrella. With a curved u shaped handle to hang on blade to catch dust!
I also use pillow case for fan cleaning
Please don't use bread to clean up broken glass! If an animal eats the bread they will be eating glass. Even in the landfills bags will eventually get broken open and the birds will eat it along with the broken glass. Please think about all of Gods creatures
1:30 tip #3 😱 I've broken my iron. It stopped heating for full power. I think powder of soda fulled holes for steam. Thank you 😂.
i love fun facts so this helps out a lot around the house
Glad you enjoyed this video. Thanks for watching! :)
Just hiring someone to clean your house is the best and easiest way to clean your house.
So useful hacks ...thank you so much for this vdo
Clean a tub with no scrubbing. Just rub and hot water. Mix liquid dawn and white vinegar in a misting bottle. Spray and wait for 30 minutes. Rub with a hot rag and hot water, and rinse. I mix it by the gallon. 1 gallon of vinegar and 1 cup of dawn. Pour a little vinegar off and add dawn. Shake and refill misting bottle. I use it on numerous things. To wash the car, sinks, garbage cans, hard water on windows, coolers, bbq'ers, outside pots, metal blinds, after cleaning my oven I will spray a rag and wipe the inside of my oven. Etc, etc.
Another awesome tip. Thanks for sharing! :)
Wow ! Thank you 👍I am not a smart person thanx for the hack
For cleaning liquid spill, try using sand or scoopable cat litter. They absorb liquid, makes cleaning easier.
How about a paper towel?
Paper towel, newspaper are even salt works better than flour. Flour will make a paste
To clean spilled baby oil you can coat the spill in corn starch, give it a few minutes to soak up and then it sweeps straight up! Found that out the hard way.
Interesting hack, thank you for sharing. :)
Bestie you’re welcome, I found it by accident when my oldest poured out an entire bottle of baby oil on my counter. I was shocked it worked so quickly and well.
@@nalanihamby3710 lol, my kids did that when they were toddlers...they tried to run, kept falling in the oil spill...still funny. 🙈
miapdx mine just poured it on his head and the kitchen counter, it was pitiful and the ONLY time he ever did something like that. (My others have more than made up for that!) had he been flailing in it though that would have been hilarious!
LITERALLY EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW... even the filthy rich, they should clean their own damn homes!!!! DAMNIT.
Thanks, cool cleaning hacks.
LUV THE MUSIC THO!!! Great song choice.

The rust hack Omg! I have to try
I keep two sponges going. After the dishwasher I leave one out to dry. I rotate them weekly.
The microwave is also a great idea, but they have to dry all the way in order to not smell. I get 2 new ones every 6 months. They can also dry out on a radiator in the winter.
Before you microwave your sponges rinse ALL THE SOAPout of it. It won’t smell. And scratchy side up.
The ultimate cleaning hack, from years of experience:
DON'T CLEAN!
Light a joint, then listen to this music! I ran out of Doritos...✌🏼 🤓 🥴
And after u wipe up broken glass off floor with slice of bread, put layer of peanut butter and jelly and feed to your most hated neighbors and boom. Two birds with one stone.
Very interesting👁
A washing machine & dishwasher I use on lots of things. Such as cleaning brushes & combs clean out the hair & combs put shampoo on the teeth rub in throw in washing machine along with sheets or towels. Use got water. Come out sparking clean
Good tips .Thanks😊

I took microfiber cloths, sewed 2 together and it works The Best for the ceiling fans.. And all this guy did was watch 5 min crafts cuz they had all these last year.. Lol... Happy cleaning everybody...
I mix white vinegar, water & dawn dish soap in a spray bottle as a cleaning solution! I used it to clean many things like the soap scum from my bath tub. I stopped using caustic chemicals, which may be the cause of certain cancers in women
That’s great. As time goes by we will likely learn that more non natural chemicals are bad for us. So good on you that you are using natural solutions. Thank you for sharing, it’s very helpful insight for our viewers. :)
I use water with a little white vinegar for glass cleaner. Cheap, effective.
How much vinegar? Water? Dawn dish soap?
Judy Anne i don’t measure it! But mostly vinegar, squirt in some dawn then dilute it a bit!
Dolores Winn I Love using vinegar to clean with. My Grandmother always used vinegar to clean while I was growing up and I watched first hand how effective it is. I hate chemicals & that’s all cleaning supplies has in them. Vinegar is all natural & clean’s just as good, if not better than any cleaning agent can!
My Grandmother also soaked all of her white laundry in a bucket of cold water with Tide Laundry Detergent and her whites were always so white, no matter how old or how bad they looked before the cleaning.
While you’re cleaning, also open up all your window’s and let some fresh air in, it help’s to get rid of extra dust & help’s remove harmful toxin’s in the house.
Love This Thanks
About the exhaust fan. That may blow out the dust but what about the grease and grime? Vinegar works for rusty cutlery and tools. Soak in straight vinegar for 24 hours.
I like the pillow case idea for the ceiling fan. I am going to try it today!
That's great! Do let us know how did it go. :)
Bestie It worked ok. No dust fell in floor. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it an 8.
Be careful when dusting ceiling fans. I had to call my electrician to recalibrate my fan--it made noise after I cleaned it with the pillow case. I heard use a dryer fabric sheet on fan blades keeps the dust off the blades-it's the coating on the fabric sheet--haven't tried it.
you can also clean earbuds with a toothpick
and blinds with a damp duster.. or spray the blinds and wipe with duster
UPDATE...
My mother taught me how to clean an iron when I was a kid... sprinkle salt onto wax paper (yes, you can still find wax paper) and then run a HOT iron back and forth over it a few times until it's clean and shiny; then make a couple of passes over the ironing board to wipe any salt off. The salt cleans any scorched fabric, etc. off the surface, while the wax paper makes the iron's face smooth as silk... it only takes a few seconds and no, you will not end up with melted wax on your clothes, and no you do not have to rinse your iron off.
FYI... This is of course NOT for tephlon coated irons!! A magic eraser as Rokie Marshall suggested, would be better suited for those surfaces.
Very good way to do it. Thank you for sharing it!
actually, a magic eraser works the best and quickest. plus you dont have to rinse
I have an easier one for baseboards, especially from lazies like me: Use socks you don't mind destroying, slip them on your feet then just use your feet to sweep the dust off. throw everything in the washer. done.
Really good idea I'll try that👍
Sounds like a good exercise too!
I use a traditional mop for weekly cleaning ... then for deeper cleanings just wet the mop in water with a little liquid soap and clean . Make sure the mop is not dripping wet .
Great. Ideas. Love that piece of bread. And more
LadyAnne Trust just don’t eat the bread afterwards.
Great FYI's...😍😊
Those who will use them will, those who won't...Move along...!!!
Gracias.
First there's 5 minute craft then blossom then crafty panda and now there's bestie!! 😮😱
Super ancient, some are out dated and dangerous and none of these are that practical. SUPER FAIL!!!
Toothpaste can also be used to clean white shoes .. and the sponge in microwave I think I'll pass on that ...
It does kill germs on the sponge, but it doesn't "clean" it!
Very hard to believe this cleans this good. It must be the best cleaner on the planet!!
Great hacks. Some Ive never heard off.
Glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you for watching! Please share this video with your friends and help it reach 100,000 views! :)
because they are stupid and not effective, if at all.
Cleaning the broom I use the bathtub. Why don't they make something put over broom to get pet hair. Have bad back so I use broom for baseboards, floors, cobwebs
Of which we would love to have the knowledge.
La brocha para limpiar las persianas, ese esta good..
This video was too long and some of these hacks don't work. Baking soda does not remove stains just by sprinkling it on the couch. Not to mention the new mess you have to clean up.
Thank you for your feedback. All of these worked when we tried them. Which ones didn’t work for you?
So true and thanks I was gonna give it a go 😮
Dear Bestie pl explain a bit. Only sprinkling and will work or to be cleaned with wet sponge?
@@fatimaazahid I wouldn't reccommend using baking soda on your cloth couch. Baking soda is great at absorbing odors but is notorious for leaving residue. I would reccommend spot-cleaning with warm water and a tiny drop of soap. If your couch is really dirty, a Rug Doctor with an apolstry attachment would do the trick.
Lauren Almeyda yep, that sounds like the right way to do it!

Good ideas!
I really like this new chapter function on CZcams
Clean white shoes or any color shoes with Ajax powder and a brush or tooth brush or even just a napkin
Wow thank you
Oh this is so helpful, I'm terrible!
Literally everyone needs to know this, literally.
Use oven cleaner to get get dark rings or stains out of your tub and shower floor. Spray and let set for at least 10 min. Rinse and make sure you clean the areas good with soap and hot water and rinse again.
Great suggestion! Thank you for sharing with our viewers! :)
Also final rinse the area with vinegar because most oven cleaners contain caustic soda , The same chemical found in drain cleaners , The vinegar will neutralize any remaining oven cleaner
