    Hey Luke, Greeting from Hong Kong. My wife and me will go to Osaka late this month and I am also will take a lot of video (abs. a video making beginner). I've watched > 50 osaka Vlog in the past 2 months. Only Mark Wiens and yours I gave thumbs up. Mark is a food lover like you and focus on food hunting and taste report but your vid has more sightseeing scenes with the balance of food tasting. And I enjoyed very much of your video because
    1) not shaking ! haha
    2) Movie editing is top!
    3) Background music selection.
    Edited : I just watched back part 1 and found that you are using Sony cam. It's bit heavy to selfie / self record ?
    Thanks for your video and it really gave me alot of inspiration for my next trip.

      Hey Hau! Im not going to lie that is one of the best comments I've ever had simply because mark weins is one of my biggest inspiration, but I agree he needs a healthier balance of shots of food and sight seeing when he does his vlogging. I mean the food is amazing in Japan, but there is other amazing things to see and do. So thank you so much for that comment. I am indeed using a Sony A6000 its a mirrorless camera and therefore not too heavy, a little hard on the arms but you get used to it... Make sure to watch my next two videos from Japan as I spend another full day in Osaka and have some more awesome food. Also I will be watching for your videos from Osaka and I wish you the best of luck filming and to have a great trip in this beautiful country :) Thanks again!

    I really enjoy your Japan blogs! I'm Japanese, but never had such a great Kaiseki-dinner. So jealous!!
    By the way, 'MAME' means "Beans" in Japanese, not "famous" ;)

    Where do you leave your bike before going to a temple or restaurant?

    • @LukeMartin
      @LukeMartin  Před 7 lety

      +1980mehdi that's a good question! A lot of temples had parking for the bikes for restaurants we can't of just risked it and parked out front or near other bikes
