    Jim - thanks for putting this up here. My youngest drives an HRV and this video was great to send to her. Love to see one on an 2019 Impreza so I can send to my other child. If one comes through the shop...

    Yes...location of radiator resevior makes it a challenge to see max level

    Thank you for explaining it all so well. I learn better by seeing something being done. I would not have known about the fill for radiator. I’ve always seen people grabbing a rag, and twisting off the radiator cap.

    With clean oil on the HRV, it's hard to see the level on that orange dip stick, easier to see it when the oil gets a little dirty.

      Definitely not in the winter it cant

      Do not use plain water it will get stagnant and risk pneumonia.

      That car is a pain in the rear end to check. There is a plug under the car that you need to remove and then you fill the trans from the tube on top until it starts to leak out from the hole were the plug was. Very messy job. Good luck ,Jim

      think HR-V has electronic power steering, it doesn't use any fluid

      When you have to fill with antifreeze / coolant you suggest to do it by the white tank that is at the right so... isn't it?
