- Age of Defense is a stone age tower defence game set in a fun cartoony world where we have to help our tribespeople fight off the hordes of baddies intent on stealing our offspring!
In the first stage of the game we're playing here, our enemies are all water-based, so squids and sea-snails and things with claws and shells and suchlike.
As you might imagine things start quite easily, with just a few simple baddies to deal with. To help us we have some tribesmen who can throw sharp sticks and then others who can chuck big rocks. We soon unlock other types too, like shamans who can use some sort of magic and even tribeswomen who act as a support class!
As we progress through the levels the waves of creatures become more and more intense until we reach the boss fight, which is against a big... squid? Maybe? A sort of tentacled squiddy thing? I'm not sure!

Big tribe. Big danger! Monster run. Monsters kills tribe. Player defend. Player kill monsters. Player kill monsters well, get lots of food for defenders. Strong tribe. Player kill monsters bad, monsters kills tribe. Dead tribe, bad player!
Player block road, monster stop. Stopped monster, defenders hit easy.
Defend here. There. Everywhere...
Player use powers. Powers help defenders.
If player good, player listen true stories about tribe. No stories for bad player.
There over 100 different kinds? Must strengthen defense!
Big Boss. Big Fight. Need many brave man.
Many world with many bosses. Each dangerous. Each want eat tribe.
Defenders. 24 kinds. Different. Think long to choose.
Enemy sneaky. Enemy use trick. Hard for defender to protect.
Must win in different places. Must adapt.
Good sounds and music in each world. Must enjoy.
Player smart. Player teach tribe over 100 skills.
Player crafty. Player improve defenders.
Complete condition. Earn point. Difficult. Spend point. Gain abilities. Tribe become stronger. Player become proud.
Blood. Suffering. Madness! Player be part of this!
Player must see all cartoons. Great sense. Big fun!

To be fair to the evil sea creatures, the intro does show the humans happily roasting the corpses of their dead friends and family, so I'd be just a tad bit miffed if I was them.
You make a very valid point! Those pesky humans, eating the innocent sea creatures!
Kingdom rush fans unite

to say I played and beat every kingdom rush game would be a understatement so i'm glad to see another head on the chopping block
This is after I finished the video and honestly I feel shame for comparing this to kingdom rush.
This game is unique with a host of interesting powers, tower and abilities that really set it apart

Game looks very nice, but 175 enemy group now in the 1st round now i know why they gave 50 babies as health.
That was quite a lot of baddies to handle, I agree. We did ok with it though!

At 7:58 the game was designed for you to take that 1 hit no matter what i guess to show what happens, unless you use some sort of cheats and break it.
