"Secret redonkulousness". Great new phrase, Gabe!
This is my fav channel, especially when Gabe is involved. Hats off to you guys.
Watching videos like this while changing my 2010 Sierra oil pressure sending unit to be sure I’m not missing any shortcuts. Got to yours and you won me over when you mentioned Clarkson
It's great you help out your neighbors and friends.
First off thank yall for your service and secondly this was the easiest video to follow on where, how, and what you need to the "T" thank yall very much.
Bringing Gabe on board was a good call he knows his stuff and explains very well!
First time I've actually watched a WatchJRGo video for an actual repair! Thanks guys super helpful & entertaining as always!
Love the daily videos, look forward to watching them at work! LOL Gabe-thanks for your service to the country!
So my working theory is that you have to fix all the neighbors vehicles to compensate for all the late night wrenchin in your driveway and late night engine start-ups...right?....right?
bill nalder: LOL! Good theory. Nah, we just like our neighbors and we REALLY appreciate them!😉🍻
Yea you got the chillest neighbors. My neighbors would be barking up my a$% to get a shop lol.
You guys make it look easy to fix all sorts of vehicles and wish could do that myself.
Gary I: You absolutely can do it. Start small and work your way up. One victory at a time. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes.
I will most likely never on this truck but still love whatching a video on how to fix it. I guess with that said I would watch any video on fixing any and you guys kill it. Love the content. Just keep fixing everyone's cars and your channel will blow up.
WatchJr and Gabe fix everyone and everything related to cars 😂 you and gabe are doing an awesome job keep it up
Gabe i subbed because one day youll have alot of subscribers if you keep doing what youre doing
Totally worked, you guys showed me where to store my ratchets while working on it. Thanks
Just got it done thanks for the video. Made things a lot easier and understanding. It’s a very tight spot but it is possible I used a ratchet to break it loose and finish it off with a Milwaukee electric ratchet. Also, just to have a little bit more room I disconnected the
Replaced mine last night. Thanks for your video!
Loving the daily videos! Keep up the great work!
Thank you guys you guys got me out of a bind your video really helped I got it fixed had a bit of a struggle but got it fixed keep making y’all’s video’s really helpful
I don't know why but I really want liquid ice after watching this.
Thank you for your service gabe!!!
Thanks JR for the video, your video was the only one I could find that got to the point of what to do. I drive a lifted 2011 GMC Sierra 4×4 and I needed to change my oil pressure sensor. I was able to successfully my first try around by watching what you did. So thank you! You definitely saved me money. :)
Your good deeds won’t go unnoticed
With the help of the video, changing the sensor wasn't as bad as it appeared. My nephews engine needed to idle for about 4 minutes before the gauge started working. Thanks.
Thank You Ssooo much for mentioning the idea of turning in reverse until you feel the click. I tell people all the time about this and they look at me like I'm crazy !
Lol I love how you guys are so close with your neighbors; so cool lol
Gabe rocking the old Surefire weapons light. Wish I still had mine!
One recommendation, if you have one is a wobble extension, it has just a little movement compared to the swivel socket. A tough job, not one you want to do twice... you can lay across the front of engine if you want... but I suppose on a lifted truck its a bit harder.
Gabe is a hero
I did this on my 05, 5.3. Total PITA!
Secret redonkulousness. I love Gabe.
Hey guys! This was a very enjoyable video. It is pretty cool that your neighbours are so cool. I have started working on my own vehicles again. I am so disappointed with how the shops think they can continue to charge jobber rates when they are 30% over bloated at the least! It has become an Industry standard, but why? You did so well saving your neighbour a small fortune for a bitty little plastic filter. Was kind of just like a day of hanging out,,,,,,,,,, in under 15 minutes! Hahaha.
Nice product placement of the Liquid Ice Energy Drink can, but I would've made it multi-task by using it as a chin rest if I could only work by feel.
Being as you are fixing everything else, I have a 99 Ford Expedition that needs front end work as well as front brakes and rotors.
I have a 99 montero sport that needs new piston rings and New catalytic converter.
Thank you for the Amberghini cameo.
This is like the second video of yours that actually I can use to make a repair ! The first one isn’t finished yet , clue ..... it’s green , big and slow ! Does your brother still want to sell the buzz coils ? Let me know please !
Thank you for your service, Gabe.
Glad to see Amberghini is alive and well.
Fun, quick video. Likey-Like.
Excellent video
If only the camo on the Gold Wing could peel off as fast as that logo...sighs....
I love the color red so I’m not sure why anyone would cover that. 🤷♀️
I have to say I was gobsmacked when I first saw the camo it was so jarring but now I kinda like it.
I think you should do like a series where you fix the car of the people that actually need it, like old people, veterans and disable ones
thelifeofpatricio: Thank you for the comment! We’ve been working on some ideas. 😉🍻
Did you enlist in the Marines JR? A mighty short haircut there. Love Kelly saying "Whack it". Kind of along the lines of "duck tape it".
My haircut guy does something different every time he cuts it... pretty sure he has no idea what he’s doing 😂
Love these vids 😊
Most common oil leak I ever encountered in any cars was exactly this..most people are told to replace gaskets and etc etc to get a higher ticket for the work lol
A mirror helps with this job
Very true! If you hold it right against the firewall it would be relatively easy to see 💯
WatchJR, fix all the vehicle's in his neighborhood! Like a good neighbor John his here!!
7:51 correct reaction when asked if you are ready to drive a 2010 sierra.
also.. 'put er in 4 hi and hit the gas' hahahah sheeees no race truck!
JR I'm not sure this would help but, I purchased an endoscope/borescope from a amazon for $35 and it helps me with plumbing and car uses. It creates a wireless network that you connect with your phone or tablet. I think it would help your viewers. I just recovered a lost tool from a 3" pipe the other day and I was glad I had it.
In this episode of WatchJRGo Gabe discusses the removal of filters in problematic orifices. On a serious note though, Gabe we appreciate your service. John Ross...enlist!
Liquid Ice needs to do a redesign on the can. It's so busy you can't read it even when used as a center piece.
Gabe, what do you do for a living? It’s awesome watching you both fix up cars (and trucks)!
Pangata: I retired from the Army a few years ago. I’m now a stay at home dad.
2010 and the GMs are still puking oil pressure senders. I replaced one on a friend's early 2000s model and learned then it was a very common failure. I remember the one I did being lower than that one. I used an extra long 3/8 extension.
Great video, definitely should call it Watch JR and Friends Go 😂
I knew Gabe was gonna say that! Ace Ventura, epic!
What is the key tool in this repair?
Liquid ice of course!
The barrage of crap coming from the vents happened to me when I got my '55 chevy up to speed for the first time. Got home and attacked both vents with a vacuum and a bent wire coat hanger.
Damn... Are you trying to get rid of Amber? You finally have her back on camera and you give her a Dirt Bath. lol
Daily JR videos are awesome! Keep it up brotha! Not being rude but kinda happy you lost your job. Get to see more sweet vids!!
Gabe making that CZcams money.. oh wait 😂
Congratulations on taking over an established CZcams channel Gabe. 👍👍👍How many yrs. did JE get? I mean when you're advertising your prison haircut, did he not think about re-caught?Poor boy.
Thank guys!!!!!!
Alright amberghini is in the video!!
I put a piece of cardboard over the one side of the engine and slide my way to, well...blindness and pure feel to replace that part. Literally, you will become a true engine 'hugger' and embrace your Chevy! Good Luck!
I have done this job hundreds of times and I have removed the intake every time takes about 15 min to do and the gaskets for the intake go bad all the time so yes we do remove the intake.
I'm really liking this channel. It's very Humble. Now what you NEED todo is hit up Tavarish and offer to help him on a project. You know Hoovie , Hoovie knows Freddy. : D
@@WatchJRGo He's one to talk about finishing projects lol. But damn that's awesome. Next you'll be meeting with Doug talking about the quirks and features if the EXP. Then telling the story on Vin Wiki.
Thanks for youre help.
Some how I have to fix My.
I Will let You know.😮
I like the totally inconspicuous product placement. I bet most people didnt even notice it
We need a video of how you and Gabe met and his story. He obviously has sweet tshirts.
Leave it to GM to put a common failure part in the most difficult place to reach. Just google "LS oil pressure sensor" to see how common this is. *knocks on wood* this hasn't happened to my 15 year old Escalade yet. But I'll probably pull the intake since the gaskets are probably old and messed up anyway. It's not really that hard to pull the intake off anyway.
Hey Gabe. I like the standard issue ACU shorts I have a few pairs myself 😂💪🇺🇸
I got rid of all my stuff when I got out, but now I wish I still had my ACU pants. SO comfy lol
Clayton Byrd: I left with four duffel bags full of uniforms when I retired. I’ll have work clothes for a few years still! 😂🤣
Just did 2 trucks thanks man and I’m not a mechanic
love that surefire worklamp. which one of you took it off your AR15?
How in the he'll did you get that connector undone so easily? I can get my hand on mine, but I cant manage to get it unplugged
P.s older BMW engines m42 s52 and old inline 6 oil pressure sender switch is a quick swap and install very common. Issue for these engines
How are you guys getting the harness off. Ive been at it for an hour trying to unclip it
Very impressive, but can you do one on a ls1 camaro without removing the intake?
How do you even get the harness off?? I can’t get anything on the tab to pry it off
i do those all the time at my dealer and i think the labor time is like 2.1 hours with pulling the intake and if you add intake gaskets if you actually pull the intake which no one does it maybe come in at 400 bucks tops but like i said we charge the 2.1 and no intake gasket kit so really its like 290 ish
Time to find a pickup in copart to give oversized wheels to! That thing is easy to get used to... it will be hard, now you're returning it! :P
I have to do this on my 09 Tahoe PPV. I I’ve had the part for like 3 months. I just don’t feel like doing it. Hahah
Watch JR fix the neighborhood!
*If JR is fixing the neighborhood vehicles, he can install a new alternator in my 1976 Camaro.*
😂👍
I sooo wanted to ask about the JRGO on the side of that monster truck. Glad I didn't now, lol. Didn't realize you had your own vinyl cutting machine. Does that run off a computer program? CNC type thing?
I have a 2003 tahoe that shows "low oil pressure" reading constantly on my dashboard. I was told it's just the oil pressure sensor that no longer works. Never messed with them before, anybody got tips?
That job is easier if you cut and break that plastic guard that blocks the view to the sensor. That guard for the most part does nothing.Once u get some of it out of there u can see the sensor no problem and it’s a lot easier.A lot better to get ur little filter in it goes in under the sensor .you will be all set up the next time you need to replace a little filter and sensor.
Did mine and check engine light cleared. But, now I have two permanent error codes displayed on my scanner P0521 & P0523! Any ideas why?
Nice cut John! :)
i really wish this video was around 3 years ago when i had my 5.3 tahoe
I like the hustle he’s displaying. Loses a job and makes money fixing people’s vehicles and filming CZcams videos. Just a thought put more info of the vehicle you’re working on in the description so someone with the same vehicle will discover you
Thanks for the video. Just wondering... my pressure gage is reading 80 psi, i just replaced the oil filter, so i dont suspect its dirty. Do you think the oil pressure switch could be bad?
Yes. Eventually it will, or should set a check engine light, you can then scan to confirm. If your oil pressure gage is acting erratic most likely the problem.
When Gabe is more active on the Chanel 😂
If I changed the oil pressure sending unit with Watch JR Goes and Gabes I would pack up the Hash Pipe with Rocky and get all schmoked up
The dryness in Gabe's humour is fantastic!
