I'm getting the game on PC in Feb & want to try out the ninjutsu build that FC did on the LP. Has that been nerfed?
Yes it has been. until you can get ethereal gear and do a combo of Marci’s grace and master of illusion set going that way it has a little kick

Very cool build to end on. I wish this game would blow up like it deserves. It takes the best parts of hardcore action games and mixes them with the best parts of Diablo-esque character building and loot grinding. It's so damn fun!

If you're struggling to get a corrupt sarutahiko weapon, remember that in the shiftling skill tree you can change the element of an active skill to corrupt, pair that with +corrupt build up and a skill that hits a lot of times or that can be spammed pretty fast, I'd say it's a decent back up until you get the corrupt sarutahiko weapon of your choice !

This is such a cool looking build, just got back to my Nioh 2 NG play through with the PS5 free upgrade. I had this game since launch and I’m so far behind, got intimidated by the difficulty after sinking 80+ hours into the game. Took almost a year break now I’m back and I’m loving it! Doesn’t feel as difficult as I used to think it was. Hopefully I can get to a point where I’m able to build something like this.

Same. I'm at the point where I can easily clear all the Nioh difficulty story content but invest my time in new builds. Underworld is pretty savage though. I'd reached a point in the depths in which you fight multiple bosses in the crucible and I had to peace out. Dragon ninja build might need some assistance with that. That being said, I'm fond of melee combat so eventually everything works out, even if it takes forever.
One of my favorite things to do in Nioh 2, is fight Yoshitsune with a switchglaive, just so I can use the low stance skill that lets me deflect projectiles back to enemies whenever he gets up on his pedestals and starts chucking swords at you.

Late but wow. It never occurred to me. Now that I think about it, starting with the first dlc, we started to get many projectiles from the humans and Yoshitsune's projectiles look like the onmyo swords. Now I'm wondering if they can all be deflected
@@alexandermccalla5098 all projectiles I think can be deflected. Yoshitsune is like a boss designed to be Apex predator boss. I hate that boss because a lot of nioh 2 relies on confusion & using elements and he is immune confusion and elements. your forced to use ki-breaking gameplay against him. he is also super resistant to poison.
Great build getting the accessories is taking some time for me. Good thing I have an OP Corruption Susano already to farm.

Well, it took them 3 dlc's and 4 NG+ tiers, but Yokai Shift finally doesn't suck anymore. Kind of bittersweet tbh
Late here however even without this set up yokai shift is good, the only downside is how you can get dicked out of shift in 1 hit.
The coop boss more looked like gozuki stun locked the boss instead of ur yokai shift abilities. But it’s nice to see a living weapon like build coming to live again.

im still new to nioh 2, im around level 100 still in my first playthrough. This is mind boggling to me lol I kinda thought the fists were lame but this was incredible. looked so damn fun to play. i need to this build in my life one day lol
Thankfully I got the fist with transform courage with the set yesterday but idk. I like combat more and only result to shift if I’ll die. Trying to get izanagi set rn. Wish we had living weapon mode for fist.
I use Sarutahiko as well for my character that I just got through the Underworld with. But I use Sohaya as my spirit for Feral form and it's guardian spirit skill in conjunction with one of my accessories with "(Sloth) on Onmyoji magic hit". It's just fun to just throw down a machine gun turret mid fight that also slows the enemy down. XD
This counts as onmyo???

I've played both Nioh games but never really got into them for some reason. That being said I always enjoy seeing Cowboy's builds and thoughts on the game. Super insightful.
i'm running 7 Sarutahiko / 6 Magatsuhi (along with 300+ sentience charge) and it' awesome, as soon as i get enough anima to launch my snake the party starts

I started playing it again this week, changed to a shinobi build and it absolutely sucks balls, I keep getting one shotted. I played Nioh 2 up to dream of the nioh, so it’s bloody infuriating! Your guides must have got me through.

It's a shame that Nioh 2 support is coming to an end. I finally reached DotN and I'm having a blast and it's sad to know there's not going to be any more content to
I hope they are going back to patch the PC release, there's been some issues these past few weeks.
I really need to practice with fist. Running dragon ninja and I don't feel safe putting the hands on anything other than a human and that's because I usually get hit in transition. The nightmare bringer ability seems to do so much ki damage I don't feel I have any reason to run Gozuki anymore.

I'd like to farm sarutohiko but I need to know if abyss defilement works the same as the first game because I'm getting a lil tired of farming Mezuki and Gozuki unless grace drops are tied to region. And you cleared all of abyss? Naisu

if u using phantom, maybe u should use Lady Osakabe. That way u could jsut stay long range the whole time. spam charge attack>Lady Osakabe>charge attack> Lady Osakabe.....

@@bongosmcdongos4190 relax, it’s only 105% maxed. The enemy can range anywhere from 110%-150% of a particular buff maximum. Just because they have a certain buff like increased health, doesn’t mean it’s always at 150% value. Also, you can remove certain buffs (and curses, from your character) by grappling or even burst countering them in certain instances. This way you can ensure that their buff is removed, while yours stays active.

Just got Nioh 2 for a Christmas present, super excited.
Would you guys recommend buying the DLCs first and playing through the game, experiencing them when they come accessible, are there small gameplay additions or tweaks that affect the base game?
Or should I play base game first, do a completely playthrough then go back and do the dlc, are they all strictly end game / ng+ content focussed?

Honestly i prefer brute rather than phantom. Maybe it's just my playstyle but i always miss the burst counter with phantom.
Does Ultimate Courage or Ultimate Con affect anything while in Yokai Shift form?

I always thought Nioh looked cool, just never ended up picking it up. Now this video randomly landed in my recommended and re sparked my interest.. If I were to give it a try now, would it matter if I played the first one or should I jump right in to Nioh 2? And does anyone have any suggestions for a fun first timer build?
You absolutely do not need the first one. This game is actually a prequel" and its a character creation game. I played 1 and it was pretty good. Ive not played 2 yet but im getting it for PC on February 5th for its launch. Ive heard nothing but glowing reviews for it. And its coop is very well done without Darksouls usual "coop nonsense like ember, soapstone ect" dont have an answer for your other questions tho. Probbaly Health and STR builds for a first timer the games are kinda rough. Dont worry you can reset your skill points and stats in this game which is a godsend once your comfy with the mechanics

Hey! Did ya ever think to test the yokai build with a crit build? Yokai shift lasts longer, and I do believe the crit modifiers works too, or onmyo warrior+ for the added damage on spell? Looks nice though. Been thinking of different way to use this set. Thanks for the insight
You could go crit but to have enough yokai shift you can't work in a crit set, just random stats on gear

Edit: Seems like you can get extended yokai shift on cores, But tbh, Id rather not get into farming 3 souls cores with yad/yada with extended.

Tried playing again after months the other day. Man, I got smashed. I gotta play a couple missions and maybe level a little before I start again with the DLC

For an ultimate anything you have to have 150 points in the given stat. So for ultimate courage you would need 150 points to use the benefits of ultimate courage

A few days ago depths scrolls were dropping all +97 gear and then they patched it.
I made Dark Souls my bitch a long time ago now... I've been playing this for 3 days and still can't beat the first boss. (I mean Mezuki, Gozuki was a lot easier for me) so yeah, congrats on getting this proficient.
Nioh looks similar to souls but plays very different. If you come to Nioh and try to play it like you would a souls game, you will die a lot. And I mean a LOT
@@XT-ATTACK aye, I had to take a week off and come back with a fresh perspective. Just started the first mission in the second region. I'd say the combat feels a lot like Ninja Gaiden, with the added technicalities of stance switching etc. And the restraint and stamina management of Dark Souls. Absolutely loving it more than any Dark Souls game. (I was a huge Ninja Gaiden fan years ago)

@@DemCheeks666 u don't need level sync. When it comes to inheritables it doesn't matter what level the armor/weapon is. U can soul match a level 160 weapon onto a level 200 weapon (just for the inheritable) make sure ur main gear is on zero familiarity

I Use The Raging Bull Armor, ( needed a good Heavy Armor set with Max 1 Weapon to get a full Grace Bonus) and Takeminakatas Grace, in the moment i get Active Skill Damage +57,9%, Mele Damage +20,9% and High Stance Damage +4%, i need some good star effekts on my Accesories and my Armor to Max this out ^^

That's what I don't get. It's a so how player game that's pve. Why does it matter if strong builds are put together? Makes no sense why they keep nerfing a single player game.
Zakaria Addow it’s that whole “look, our game is harder than Dark Souls” mentality. They think it’ll make it better and more appealing. It doesn’t. Constantly nerfing something we spent hours to build sucks...
The part about the underworld that pissed me off was u fight like 80 percent of the bosses are lame human bossses i was so board when i finished i was mad at myself for doin 108 floors of basically lame humans with the occasional yokai boss here an there.
Going through this now at max I can do about 5 levels a day before feeling burned
