The way a person perceives a smell is different, that’s why a fragrance review can never be as accurate as a mobile phone review. I thought it would be almost impossible not to like this fragrance considering the price, the smell close to DHI, the fact that it is an expensive fragrance highly discounted. Apparently that orris root is off putting, never thought it could be that off putting. I personally see it this way, for the price of below 10£, even if I didn’t like the fragrance I would still see it’s value. I don’t like Sauvage, but if I see it being sold for below 10£ I would buy many bottles, because I know it’s a bargain.
This sounds like just about every other scam out there. It's probably a company he is affiliated with and makes a % of their profits. Don't fall for it.
@wishawlad he says "from doing research and the company not having a website, its no longer a brand" assuming it's discontinued when there is no evidence online for the brand to have even had a website in the first place. He then uses this reason to urge his viewers to purchase this fragrance NOW otherwise they won't be able to later on. With the price being so low, he's praying on the impulsive behaviour of his audience to purchase it. This marketing strategy has been used by countless unknown fragrance brands to make a quick buck. Throughout the entire video, rather than giving saying the good qualities and the bad qualities and whether he likes the fragrance or not, he's preaching about how this is a must buy and it quite obviously sounds like an advertisement. I don't blame you for thinking this is a legit review but this guy has definitely been payed for doing this "review".
@@8kbiglord466 i dont know... but the perfume smells realy good. Its like the drydown of dhi, the opening of dhi is better of course. But the perfume for the price is realy good.

I bought the perfume and it arrived today 31/07/20 very synthetic. It smells like a cheap perfume, as soon as I applied it to the skin I hated it. I threw it in the trash now.
Absolutely right. A disaster! Seldom smelled something so hideous. Synthetic monster. Comparisons to Dior Homme Intense are more than ridiculous.

i have some of this stuff. I really like the smell, but it has no projection or longevity on my skin. It lasts a few minutes, then its gone. I wish it was stronger as i really like it. It smells very similar to frankincense to me
Michalis has an awesome channel. I watched his vids when looking to get some more perspective on Capucci months back, but this was a great find. Sucks that I can't find it here in North America. Along with Warm Black from Zara, they could very well be the best bargains on the fragrance market right now! 👍

I bought this product based on your review and the link to this seller. I am hugely disappointed because I bought 3 bottles. The projection lasted barely 1 minute. I justed wasted my money purchasing from this seller. I'm gutted.

I bought 4 bottles. It really is similar to Dior or Givenchy. Extremely long. Yesterday I used it at 2 pm. Now it is morning and it still smells on my skin. Be carefull 😊

I purchased this perfume after listening to this video. the perfume itself is not bad for the price it costs. but I don't see similarities with Dior homme. there is no trace of pear, chocolate...It is an aromatic vanilla. Unfortunately the duration on my skin is quite limited. However, better than many other perfumes. In my opinion, not the best cheap on the market. For example some Zara perfumes are they cost less and are better.

wow, I bought this fragrance based on this review. it arrived today and I'm wearing it now. man. It's crazy. it smells sophisticated. You smell like a freaking rich man. similar than Dior Homme intense. Prada L'omme. Valentino. All the same vibe. I just ordered another bottle. for 15 Euro (shipping included) on ebay. Thanks Ifi!
IFI you absolute legend!!! Taste is subjective and performance also depends on the individuals skin but it seems to me that certain peeps on here haven't smelt Dior Homme Intense. Always trust my man IFI and he's on to a winner with this one!!! It's less than £9 that is a crazy price for something so good. If you know anything about (DHI) you'll know the projection is soft but it lasts forever!!! J's has the same if not a bit better performance at times than (DHI) which has been reformulated. I get a creamier vibe from J's a lot more vanilla. I paid £90 retail a couple of years ago for my (DHI) which was a treat to myself and now I just purchased 5 bottles of this stuff, it's that good price wise and performance, look everyone is entitled to their own opinion but there seems to be a bit of hate in the comments on a personal level which ain't needed, if it didn't work for you such is life that's fragrance. It definitely works for me and will be buying more. Thanks again IFI great job!!!
Ordered because of this video. Catastrophic synthetic monster. Cheapest vanillin, absolutely no recommendation. Comparisons to Dior Homme Intense are a real joke! Hands off! Money thrown out the window.

But it's not a safe blind buy imo, on my skin the boozy and iris (or lipstick-y) vibe is very prominent. Similar to pirates grand reserve.

Hey Ifi, could you tell me about the batch differences with CDNIM?
A few months have passed and both bottles, which I bought have now gone in the bin. I tried and tired to like it and give it time - but this is honestly one of the worst fragrances I have ever smelt and certainly ever bought. I would not recommend this to anyone or actually wear it in any situation.
I am disappointed that I fell for this obvious marketing scam.. This as got to be the worst chemical mess I have have ever sprayed on my skin. To the people who paid £100 for this all those years ago, I have a golden unicorn for sale if you are interested. .

I’ve smelt this & Frank oliver touch of oud. Nothing special about either. Nasomatto Baraonda on the other hand could make a glass eye weep.

I've now received my bottle and I have to say it's really good for the price. It definitely has that lipsticky feel like dhi. The opening is a little strange but gets better. I'm gonna order another bottle for sure

Hey Fabi! When I bought mine, years ago, it had a very good performance. Nowdays there are better clones of Sauvage, even closer is smell and better performing. I will name one but don't know if you will be able to find it. Search for Rave Ambre Bleu
