should eva mark 06 be eva 06 instead? I thought it was a unique unit? The mark 4 as compared to eva unit 04 seemed to indicate that the marks were different models that weren't shaped like eva. It has been a while since i watched EVA rebuild, but the 04 dash name also confuses me now lol. Wasn't it an updated unit 02? Not the silver 04?
You're right on Eva mark 6, however in the preview of the film unit mark 6 was simply called Unit 06 so someone tend to use that name, however it is canonically part of the Mark series
For me, the "Mark" are units built under the direct command of SEELE
The Rebuild numbering goes off the rails after unit 8. Just give in to the non-numbering.

Evangelion is just so messy with the Eva's, story's, what's canon what's not canon. Shit I still dont even understand the ending in the anime. I want to go off the deep end and just learn everything there is to know about eva but it's a lot

Btw in the Rebuilds Unit 07 was still in Europe because Japan had too many Evas according to a UN treaty IIRC. There was never any artwork for it that I know of but it probably would have looked something like Unit 04 from the original series.

Due to an unseen enemy, Asukla began to merge with Unit 02, which had been upgraded, and had a separate evangelion that could fly them to the moon. This created Crimson a1, but it wasn't a perfect fusion, and she basically became a giant baby, playing with tanks like they were toys, and had no general idea of the world around her.
I swear, this video has almost all the names wrong and they didn't even include Eva 02 F-Type, Eva-00 F-Type and all the repaired versions of Eva-02.
My favourite Eva units are unit 01 unit 02 unit 03 and unit 04

Technically the Allegorica units are external backpacks designed to help the unit fly, and maneuver better in low gravity environments. They can be removed if the situation calls for it.
