Just saw this video and then read the "idiot" comments. The boys have beautiful voices and if people took the time to find out what the scene is maybe they wouldn't sound like "idiots" when commenting. It's a funeral and dramatically the boys "come OUT". It's not an aria it's broadway. Good grief people...smarten up and beautifully done Steve and Jason!!!
perfectly sung.....as an actor i would have not chosen the sobs.....its a choice ( or directorial- I hope not)...but I always feel if you don't cry- it is easier for the audience to cry for you.
If he doesn't lose control of himself, Ethan has no reason to take his hand and complete the song with him. This is the moment where we see their commitment as a couple. It's a play, after all.
this rend was slow, but i liked it. I wished he would have touched him sooner. Maybe, that bc how my theatre did it, but i wished had been faster and he touhed him quicker. lol, but the unison "hill TOP" Bogarted my speakers. :)
I played this at my Father's funeral. I cry every time I hear it. Simply beautiful!!!!

I love this song. I had it played at my wedding . . . sooooo out of context, but it is beautiful when you simply listen to the words
This is breathtaking
Absolutely heartbreaking.
Perfect emotional performance.
I love the slower tempo here.
