The powerful 1.6-litre VTVT petrol engine generates 123PS of max power and 151Nm of max torque. It is linked to a six-speed automatic transmission. With a decent ground clearance of 190mm, it tackles rough roads quite convincingly. However, it isn't meant for off-roading.
The automatic trim shares most of the features with those on offer in the SX Plus manual variant. The only difference is the addition of 17-inch alloys instead of the 16 inchers on the MT trim. On the exterior, it gets silver painted front rear skid plate, bi-functional projector headlamps, cornering lamps, LED positioning lamps, dual tone radiator grille and bumpers, body coloured ORVMs, chrome finished outside door handles, shark fin antenna and LED turn indicators on ORVMs.
The interior of the Creta automatic features leather wrapped steering and TGS knob, rear parcel tray, metallic door scuff plates, smart key with push button start, fully automatic AC with mood change bar, electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs, rear AC vent, electric tailgate release, rear power outlet, rear wiper and washer, luggage lamp and power windows with driver side auto up-down.
For added convenience, the SUV gets height-adjustable driver seat, height-adjustable rear headrest, 60:40 split rear seat, 7-inch smart audio video navigation system, Bluetooth connectivity, Apple Car Play, Android Auto, Mirror link and steering mounted controls.
