Godzilla Gets a YouTube Award, Part 1 (Fan Parody Animation)

Now onto what this video is. There's times I need to take some time off from the bigger or more complex animations I've been making behind the scenes for the past few years and keep this channel going with new content. So low effort side-projects like this will crop up from time to time.
Out of the approximately half a dozen animation ideas I had, I narrowed my choice down to two that I could feasibly make in a reasonably timeframe. One of those ideas was far better developed, with a clearer theme related to a relevant subject in the Godzilla franchise, it had a better structured story, and a more "divisive" type of satirical humor... That is not the idea that I made into a video, because I thought its subject matter and jokes wouldn't mesh too well with the sensitive state of things going in the world these days.
The second option was what became this video here, basically a dumping ground of various second and third-rate gags and other types of silliness I couldn't fit into other animations, loosely connected and playing out like some unstructured string of consciousness that never really gets to the point. The decision to split it into two parts (hopefully it won't be more) came about because it was already way too long and listening to all the monster talk can get grating after a while.
Part 2 will have more monster action and it'll be even more ridiculous.
About the donation option, I haven't set up any before because and I'm still unsure of how reliable or useful these services would be to a channel like mine. A little announcement regarding this video. I removed the preview for the 2nd part from the end because it's not accurate anymore. Originally I thought this could be a 2 part video, but I'm separating it into even more parts due to various reasons, primarily due to video length.

I like how Godzilla is so detailed that he even has the holes in his neck in reference to the holes in the suit so the guy could breath and in lore they were just gills.

Zilla's such a troll and I love him. You can see the look on his face grinning stupidly more and more after blabbering a bunch of bs in front of godzilla. This channel gives Zilla such an annoyingly funny character and I think this is how Zilla would be in a Showa type era
Vrahno kinda appreciates Zilla as the child that tried its best to be cool so he made him cool. It is not Zilla's fault that the producers ruined him. Just like a balloon with a fascist party logo on it, not the balloon's fault.

The way you made zilla into such a interesting character outta a thing most despise is amazing. Along with making all the other Kaiju have great character. The comedy is gold, this is truly Oscar worthy. Keep up the good work!

@@thebehemoth4951 There are plenty. GEMSTONE has some great visuals, but their project isn't released yet. There's all of the 2d Pivot stuff, and then there's a fantastic channel that made some animations of Godzilla Earth, but waaay ramped up. Godzilla Convergence is also great, in fact, I wouldn't say than any of these aren't worth watching. In the end though, most of them lack comedy, and the fluidity of Vranho's animations give them that extra boost in my opinion.

Why does everything shine with such quality? Why is the humor so smart? Why is the animation so good? Why is something like this so engaging? If this is a "low-effort side project" as the description states, then I can't fathom what a high effort project looks like!

The animation and characterisation here is honestly great. Vrahno stays winning. Rhedosaurus being stop motion and Anguirus freaking out about the dinosaur toy were the best parts.

This is lovely, every character is so charmingly animated, delightful work dude.
Holy shit this is honestly the perfect blend. Stunning animation work, Kaiju fanservice and an absolute goldmine of visual gags. Like, this humor is just the right amount of bizarre, relatable and outlandish. While it would take away from the experience, I honestly don’t even think you’d need to be a Godzilla fan to find this at least moderately enjoyable.
The fact that Titanosaurus didn’t question when Anguirus said “yes I’m HE’s husband” shows that he is okay with gay People that’s a neat aspect

Holy smokes I love the characterization in this so much, and how the expressions match what they’re saying but the mouths are synced with the roars so fluidly! I appreciate the Looney Tunes humor as well, and the way Rhedosaurus has a lower frame rate to evoke that stop motion-y feel!

Well, from what I heard, some fans have been greatly dissatisfied with any kind of personality or expressiveness displayed by the monsters in the official movies, as they argue that cheapens their character and makes them too corny. Kong is the one exception, since he's an ape.
This video is a cartoony, over-the-top parody, therefor overanimated expressions are more at home in this context.
I know Vrahno pretty much told u the same thing but I just wanted to say that the monsterverse is much more grounded in reality (though that's changing quickly with the release of gvk) and the real life animals that the titans r based off of don't have the muscular features to express emotions. I think it's fun to guess what emotion Godzilla is feeling despite not showing it. Although, we still get a LOT of more emotional facial expressions than we should. But that's a good thing otherwise we'd have a repeat of the lion king 2019 remake.
