Tried this method. It will definitely dis-infect tank but won't unclog taps and don't expect result similar to manual cleaning. It will leave residue at bottom of tank.

Totally useless process. Water outlet is not on the base of tank, it is always kept 1.5 to 2 inches above the base. So what about the remaining water below the outlet?

ब्लीचिंग पाउडर को टंकी में सीधा न छोड़ें (उड़ कर श्वास के साथ आपके अंदर जाने का ख़तरा है)
आधा लीटर पानी लें, उसमे ब्लीचिंग पाउडर को दाल दें, मिलने दें फिर उस पानी को टंकी में डालें
यही सही तरिका है
भैया! टोटी खुल्ला रख ने से भी टंकी कि बेस का पानी खाली नहीं होती तो वो पानी बादमे पूरी टंकी कि पानी में मिलती है तो खराब नहीं होत है? मतलब वो केमिकल हानिकारक तो नहीं होती?

I have hard water in my area causing the internal pipes to corrode. Will using Hydrogen peroxide and Bleaching powder be safe to use to unclog the pipes and clean the tank. Kindly confirm so that I can do it. It should not be a situation that while cleaning the tank, I end up shelling out big money to change the pipes and lay a new one, and also cause water problem and damping the flat, where we need to think about our upper and ground floor neighbours as well.
hydrogen peroxide or oxygen will remove the clog but will speedup corrosion and will make holes in pipe wall faster. In case you choose this, make sure you flush all your pipes with plenty of water. start with cleaning the overhead tank frequently and have a filter on out of tank so that supply to your pipes is filtered. It will not filter out minerals that make it hard but will remove debri atleast.

Bro, in the swimming pool they also mix hydrogen Peroxide as an oxidizer and bleaching powder in order to keep the public pool disinfected. It Doesn't becomes poisonous. Yes, consuming these solution in a huge quantity may cause serious health issues even bleach is not good for skin it may cause rashes if it is being used in a huge quantity. But it is OK if it is being used in small quantity(the water after refilling).
Even they use the same method to clean the 'public water supply tanks', even people use this method to clean the huge society tanks. So it is safe to use. If the user is using these chemicals in a responsible manner.
