15 years ago setting in a jail cell alone and broken he found me and reached me right there in that cell. Jesus called my name that day and said I have been waiting, it wasn't an audible voice but I heard him. I can't share my whole story here but for 15 years I have been clean and sober i had tried everything but God reached down and in my darkness made a way that none other was able to do. I'm living proof when no one can reach us Jesus can. So if you are that one that i am speaking to, there is hope and a better way, his name is Jesus

Let me say this ....I am proud to be christian
He reached me when I was 13, a war refugee, far from home, and before that when at age 11-12 I was depressed, suicidal and the only thing that kept me going was the love I receved from my non practicing christian background family from 2 different confessions: I figured out I couldn't ruin their lives by ending mine, so I moved on like a zombie till the war broke out... Love your young ones: the only thing that really counts in life is to love and be loved! Since then, the Lords keeps on finding me in every stage or phase of life: Youth, adulthood, middle age, in my joys, sorrows, trials, losses, traumas, illnesses of my beloved ones, in my victories, my confiusions, marriage, maternity... "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercy never comes to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. The Lord is my portion says my soul, therefore I will hope I'm him." (Lamentations 3,21-24)

Underrated worship song
What a memory! It was a great blessing to be there on the day of the live recording. Very heart touching songs that changed my live in a very positive way. This song however is by far my favorite. A great reminder that Jesus makes a way when we feel that there is nothing left to do.

my family lived in the Springs from 2010-14, we attended New Life Church and absolutely love Desperation and the praise music dodging Sunday services. Have moved back to TX since, but we miss the Springs and New Life.
Heard this song for the very time at church this past Sunday and it spoke VOLUMES!!! We're going through a stressful time of buying and selling our home and it was perfect to remind me that the LORD will make a way! :D

Really struggling with a relational spiritual battle I've been in for a very long time. I was weeping in prayer this morning, thinking of how the Lord hears my cries and how He cares, even though things feel so hopeless. I thought of how God heard the Israelites crying out for help (Exodus 2:23-25). I thought of blind Bartamaus persistently crying out to the Lord, and He asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?" As I wept, and once again sought to entrust this heavy burden to the Lord, the Lord put "You make a way where there is no way" on my mind. I was pretty sure those were some song lyrics that maybe I'd heard before, and that He wanted me to look it up on CZcams. This was the first song to pop up. I'm surprised I have never heard of this worship song, but I'm so blessed by it. "Where there is no way, You make a way. Where noone else can each us, You find us." Praise God that He hears our cries and makes a way where there is no way. He is the only One who could rescue us from our sin, and He's the only One who can rescue and deliver us in whatever circumstances in which we find ourselves. Dear Lord, please help us to trust You and continue clinging to You, even as we may continue "passing through the waters or walking through the fire" (Isaiah 43:1-4); may we rest in Your presence and may You get all the glory when You stretch out Your hand to work wonders and bring deliverance and freedom to Your people. I pray for others, like me, who need reminded of Your faithfulness and power to save in any and every situation we face. Please continue using this song to bolster faith and confidence in You. I praise You that You are a mighty One who will save (Zeph. 3:17), and I praise You that You hear our cries and care for Your children. In the precious and mighty name of King Jesus, amen.

I am yet to find a contemporary song where the message stands out and touches my heart. It seams like the instruments are always covering the voices (and the message, where there is one), and produces a noise that makes me shot them out. Yes, it is true that where there is no way, God makes a way, but that's all I hear in this chanting that is wrongly called "song."

AndromedaMoon Thanks for the referral. I just listened. They are nice, indeed. Like with most songs, I probably need to listen to them several times to let them sink in, and, most importantly, to be able to sing along. My difficulty with some of the newer songs is that sometimes the voices (and the messages) are covered by the instruments, some are very guttural and do not induce worship, and some are nice, but very complex and hard for people to sing along in church. I like to be able to learn and sing a song that is used for praise and worship in church. If I cannot sing it to the Lord myself, watching and hearing the artist worship is not helping. A song is supposed to minister to people and to help them enter into the presence of the Lord. The people in the church must be able to express themselves through the songs, too.
Open up your heart and I'm sure the Lord will minister to you.
