That one is a classic but I still enjoy both the Radiant Dawn and Path of Radiance! I got to say though the newest recruitment themes in Awakening and Fates lack in their themes in my opinion. They both have great themes but recruitment theme to me wasn't one of them (scratch that the Hoshido one was pretty damn catchy the Nohr one has that one instrument that doesn't fit with the theme).
In Radiant Dawn, when Begnion forces are sent to prevent Ike and the Greil Mercenaries from making it back to Crimea on the down low, Ike mocks them for picking fights they can't win.

Yes I'm well aware of those facts but incase if you haven't noticed, Crimea is a peninsula off of Ukraine. Interestingly enough the Crimean peninsula resembles the continent of Tellius itself.

Awakening didn't really have one, it was more so just the Shepard's theme song. I wish they used some kind of recruitment theme though and did it more than two times and instead used it every time you recruited someone, like when you get more units in the beginning of a lot of chapters
For Stefan in the desert stage where you fight Muarin, in the zone with the ravens to the top-right. You gotta stand on the right Spot with either Lethe or Mordecai. Otherwise if you stand in the spot with a beorc he will only give you the Vague katty.
FE Path of Radiance is my favorite game in the series so far, though I have a feeling Fates will change that when it comes to the states next year. But back on topic, I love the sound track for this game. One of the reasons I like the whole game I suppose. Ya gotta love a great score.
The problem that I had with shadow dragon was that it was only seizing, no defending, routing, or arriving I loved POR, It teaches you how to think strategically, unlike zelda, which has a set way to do things, or final fantasy which makes you think quickly.
Fire emblems got it all. The most memoriable characters, the best black knight EVER, Laguz or Manaketes, Strategy, Epic Plot, Incredible villains, originality... Everything.
Don't you love when in FE games, whenever you recruit an enemy character the support enemies that come with them remain enemies after the character joins you, so you have to deal with them afterward? It happened with Vaida, Kormag and Haar (althought in the latter case it's justified by the fact that the units that were with him are Daein soldiers that are keeping an eye on him

I bought radiant dawn some time ago, found out it was a sequel and quit with it.. but i bought a copy of Path of Radiance not so long ago instead of trading radiant dawn for a other game. @YOUCANTKILLTHEPOPE It is, but it is still a great Fire Emblem game on its own. It's the very first Fire Emblem game and allready hold the basic gameplay known today. Sure, Story ist very simple. Evil Dragon wants to destroy the world, Prince Hero goes and destroys it. The End. Though I admit the character development was low in this title (But we do have unit conversations in certain situations with some characters to give us a little bit of background story).

Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn had tons of support conversations and out-of-story character development of sorts, which also gave your group bonus attributes. They obviously concentrated more on this feature with the two games, rather than one that was first produced 25 years ago. They only remade Shadow Dragon because of Famicon's 25th anniversary. Shadow Dragon's character development was low, but it is there. It's just not as obvious as in PoR / RD.

Unknown: My name is Anthony, I was fleeing from Daein forces when I heard Commander Griel was in the area. Ike: Well it is impossible to meet him now, he is dead. Anthony: So who is commander now? @zelosq Not to mention it's a must for anyone curious of Marth's storyline, since he wasn't heard of outside of Japan until SSBM. The next remake they do should be Sword Of Seals, to give us Roy's storyline.
@DuckTapeDucky11 FE: Shadow Dragon also has an amazing storyline, character development and gameplay. Though I must admit it's hard and I spent lots of time in the Arena, grinding up my army. But it's a must buy for any Fire Emblem Fan. I recommend you watching / reading a review about it and checking out some Gameplay to make your decision easier. I have it myself and I'm quite satisfied. The WiFi Online Mode isn't bad either (you can battle other people all over the globe).

The Shadow Dragon is simple, yes. It's because it was just an introdution of the character Marth, since a lot of fans seemed interested in the prince because of Melee/Brawl, Nintendo decided to remake the first title of the series. Saddly the sequel (which is very good) didn't came to the Ocident.

Only topped by "Together We Ride!" in my opinion, "With Us!" and "Together We Ride!" are certainly my favorites anyway.
