I’ve never been to live concert before.. I’m holding out for Owl City. I wish there was word on when he’d be touring again. This is my favorite song of the album.
I went to two of his concerts. Mobile Orchestra Tour and Cinematic Tour. It was really awesome and worth it.

This song reminds me heavily of my old best friend.
We had our ons and offs, and right now, it's one of those "off" moments for no reason. He and I used to play PS4 all night and be idiots together. We met in a summer school class going into 6th grade in 2002; we made this stupid claymation project together. We started hanging out together since he lived up the street from me. I would walk to his house or vice versa; we would always find something to do. In our teenage years, we remained friends; we grew together. Eventually, I got caught up in life, and so did he; we didn't talk from 2011-2013. When I moved back home, we rekindled our friendship. We would hang out almost every night since we both worked 2nd shift. Our hangouts turned into listening to music, playing magic the gathering, and talking about life. We talked about our friendship and how similar we were. He was the brother I never had. It lasted that way until the summer of 2017. It's been one year, two months, and 4 days since I last talked to him. There was no rhyme or reason. But hey, who's counting, right..?
Now here I am, listening to this song relating to every word that Adam says, reigniting feelings I have tried to fight off since we last talked. I reached out to him a few weeks ago, but I never heard anything back from him.
Anyways, I sigh and think about the past, but it's alright because everything changed.
2022 edit: It's been 5 years now, and no contact. Life has changed me, him, and all of us, honestly. But, this is simply just a part of life. I look back and those times and think, "Oh wow, who even were we!?". That was a piece of me at that point in time, without it, I wouldn't be "me" now. So I am grateful for the time I got to spend having him in my life, even if he is not here now.

The background beat that begins at 1:16 just reminds me so much of the really old Adam young music like sky sailing. (not sure if it was that or old owl city, or swimming with dolphins but one of them) Really loving these new songs.
Pretty sure that beat in the background is from Port Blue. I think the song was "Over Atlantic City".
