I think fans should know that this was pure feeling. The entire art poured out on paper without any retakes, without any tracing. Each segment, the orb planet, the shamanic Tati figure, the stormy sea; in pencil and ink, one after the other, while listening to Jinjer. I had never attempted pointillism on very large pieces until then, the Orb alone is about 8 inches with countless dots to form the swirling universe within it. In hindsight i do believe there was some other elemental power at play here guiding the process. As musicians and artists we are just Vessels and messengers of things that need to be expressed upon humanity. So we can change, we can evolve, we can grow. The message here was clear, if in your darkest moments when you find your life a stormy sea, that if you believe in rising above and reach out for the absolute. The universe WILL absolutely 100% answer you. I saw Jinjer 3 years before Macro and set my intention that i wanted to work on something epic with this life changing, dynamic and creative force, eventually it happened. I believed i could Rise, so should you.

Bro, tho Im #Notaboomer , ive seen at least 200 bands live, was stuck in FM hell until i saw Metallica open for Ozzy in 86. NOT since then has a band affected me like that, til Jinjer, seen live twice, third time cut by covid. First time i doubt there were 10 fans there older than me. I havent paid to see a band from the 70s 80s 90s etc. for about 15 years. Love the energy of the young folks.
They really weren't kidding when they said they would make a video for EVERY track! lainnereP has such a calming effect, it's so beautiful. This video was amazing too!

This composition of Perennial is so soothing. I am 57 years young, live in the USA and lost much of my interest in rock music except for two bands. One is AVOID, my son is the lead guitarist, they are young and hardworking and growing a fan base. They are a metal genre too. And Jinjer, your tracks and theirs have revived my love of music.. An old bandmate of mine does art on a level with this. Not with the pointillism but with insane levels of tiny details and brushed linework. It's amazing to me, the patience and technique and inner eye that it must require.
You guys always find a way to impress me and blow my mind with your creativity. I have overwhelming amounts of respect for Jinjer. I feel like they can't do anything wrong.
I had never understood people's desire for a 10-hour version of a song until I first heard lainnereP. Also, Visual Amnesia did a great job with the album artwork.

I was at your concert in Iowa city the day after Macro was released and were some of the few to hear it live. Had so much fun being able to listen to sumo cyco and one of my all time favorite groups the browning. I was lucky enough to get VIP and meet you all and after the show got to meet the other bands as Well. Hopefully once all this covid stuff is over you’ll come back to Iowa again.
