I assume he means they'd go on strike which in my opinion is pretty reasonable for such a stupid idea like stopping sausage production.

I heard the emissions from these sausages are even "wurst" than that of the Diesel engines.
It's nice that VW gave that lady a job that suits her life as she grows older. A lot of employers aren't like that.

They are officially classed as a "Volkswagen Werksteil" - a manufacturing part.

Fun fact: The same facility produces Porsche sausages, but they cost three times as much.
You only get the casing if you want meat you have to upgrade to the turbo trim
Porsche sausages are more streamlined.
Just cause Vw owns Porsche it does not mean that are the same thing. It’s like claming omega watches are the same as a quartz swatch because both are owned by swatch
The ketchup on the table is also VW branded, I didn't discover this until my German uncle put it on the table when we were visiting and having sausages that evening. I had no clue they made condiments to go with their sausages, but it makes perfect sense really.
They sell the curry sausages and the curry sauce that is served with them. They are argueably the best curry sausages in germany.
Curry spice is made by "Tata" in India ;-)
I worked in Germany for many years and these were served in the factory restaurant. When ordered the sausages were put in an immaculate special purpose machine using tongs which cut them into exactly 2 cm
pieces in 2 seconds and pushed them one sausage at a time onto warm plates! German precision, hygienic untouched by hand and no complaints they were the wrong length. Outstanding!

there is one problem with all emission tests because they test the car at constant speeds where the emissions and fuel consumption are constant but in reality ,you use more fuel and cause more emissions because of traffic and the constant acceleration and deceleration of the car . i dont really know what the emissions test consists of in the usa

They are actually really delicious. Had them once while I was on a 2 week school internship at a programming business and one day a collegue made them for everyone with the VW Ketchup and Curry sauce. God damnit that was one of the best currywursts I've ever got to eat.
