I have no idea why this popped up in my feed today, but I’m so happy that it did. You are an awesome mother. I had seven kids, and now, 12 grandchildren. When you talked about God, it actually brought tears to my eyes. You are so right! God does play a big part in everything that we do.
I really love this story. Your family is beautiful! I realize that this was three years ago, but I just wanted to let you know how great I think you are! And, how great God is! I’ll say an extra prayer for you today.
God is good all the time. He is there for us when we need him. I’m so glad he was watching over you and you precious family. Sounds like he was there and your church family. 🙏🏻😘

I heard about this happening more often than not with kids this year.
I'm so so Happy your daughter is alright..it could have been much worse...God is Good.
I couldn't walk when I was a kid for about 2 weeks my mom gave me Tylenol because I hurt so bad.. my Mom finally brought me to the hospital and found out it was rheumatic fever and it attacked my heart from a strep throat and because she waited so long it got really bad,I was in the hospital for a month and in and out of ICU when I was 12 years old but it attracted all my joints in the end..
That was in 1977..
My grand daughter had Kawasaki Disease during that same time frame. The symptoms were quite similar except she also had a rash. They first thought it was scarlet fever as she was positive for strep as well. If left untreated it could also have killed her. Thankfully, the hospital admitted her and after tons of blood work and days of waiting she was diagnosed. She still has leg pain and now has to be monitored for heart and kidney disease for years to come. I hope your daughter is feeling so much better now and that there are no lasting affects from her Rhabdomyolysis .
Holy moly as a mom the worst nightmare of all time is hearing your kid has ANYTHING wrong, let alone that they’ll have to be hospitalized. Whew! I bawled through the whole thing!! I am SO glad sweet Natalie is feeling better and I hope SO much that she gains all of her muscle strength back quickly. Thank GOD for amazing doctors that keep their eyes peeled for the not so ordinary diagnoses!!! Y’all hug each other good and tight for me!! 💜💜💜
The second you said rhabdomyolysis I sat straight up. I had a potential brush with this. It is no joke. So grateful that the doctor didn’t take her symptoms for granted as many do! Wishing all of you better health and well being ASAP. 😊💕💐 (1Corinthians 10:13)

Wow, it is wonderful that a doctor who knew about Natalie's illness was on duty when you brought her in. God is watching over your family. That child abduction drill was really cool.

Amino acids from muscle breakdown causes kidneys to be overwhelmed and they begin to shutdown. It is an extremely dangerous diagnosis. It is a common diagnosis for people on high cholesterol meds. So happy you and the family are well. God believes you're a super hero, you should believe it too

My daughter has a new baby girl and her five year old came down with the flu, I kept the five year for 4 days to keep the flu away from the newborn and so far so good, but it is all still on-going, anyway I really understand your pain and the stress and the worry!! How wonderful it is to have family to help in these horrible times and as I say our flu thing is still not over, but we feel blessed with how God has been so good to us and helped us through this whole thing. So many prayers for your family and know that you are not alone!!
Oh my goodness. Your poor family, I can’t even imagine. I have tears streaming down my face. The knowledge of that Doctor, God was directing him. And your finger 🤮, I’d lost it. I’m right there with you on needles and stuff being done to me. I’m thrilled you’re all on the mend. Breath, relax and hug those kiddos.

I watched all this unfold on Instagram while it was happening. You were one strong mama. I agree that God had a hand in this. Not all doctors are good diagnosticians and thank goodness yours was. I have never heard of Rhabdomyolysis, so thank you for making this video. I found it very interesting. I am so glad everyone is on the mend. Take care.
ty for mentioning this. i had a car accident ad the mucles i have arent working. i was very worried about ms. im going to call my dr.. i had dizzyness all winter long. god throws use a curveball..he has a wicked sense of humor.
maybe check the compressor in your fridge a clog in the defrost drain a clog anywhere in your fridge ajust the temperature of your fridge to recommended maybe its dying because its not getting cold enough to work properly maybe you can replace the compressor coils
that was nice of your mom to let you guys barrow her mini fridge and milk especially if the milk went bad

thank heavens for doctors that can help if were sick and on top of it are good to us when they know whats wrong and hope you can get a new fridge health is important so is a fridge

I just watched your video from exactly *this time last year* It would seem that you have had two really bad Christmas holidays. Sadly, last year you was struggling with debilitating stress over the holidays. Now I just watched this and saw what a terrible time you have just been through. AGAIN! However, I had to chuckle when you said how much you love Christmas! Well, after the two Christmases that you and your family have been through I have to wonder why?! I will be following and watching and next Christmas, I will be praying that you will get a fabulous holiday time!

My son got that like 7 years ago it's scary and I was down with the flu and couldn't go with him so thank God for my mother in law but I'm glad you guys are feeling better ❤

You are not alone. We canceled x-mas due to flu and colds. now my kids are sick again with bad colds.
There have been times in my life where God and I had very different ideas of how much I could handle but He has always been right (of course) and I am stronger for it. Not perfect for it but stronger! Through those times I have learned who loves me & who walks beside me 💘. I am glad you went to a good doctor and your daughter is well now! I’m glad you’re all doing better! This sounds similar to our Christmas of 2018. My sister committed suicide the week before Christmas. So dealing with that I never got my finger infection checked and it turned out very similar to yours. I was on antibiotics for 2 months. And I also had a little toe issue and lost the nail a few months prior to that Christmas when a friends cat broke my toe (the cat swatted and dropped a level on my foot) 😂 so crazy how many similarities we’ve shared! ❤️❤️

Thought for sure you were going to say sepsis.When my daughter was five she kept saying her leg hurt.After a long night with a very high fever (which was after our urgent care visit.)I took her to the ER,HOURS later they sent us to Childrens Hospital in the city.My husband was out of town ,so after we,(my other daughter also)got lost (at that point I met my angel! no joke)made it to hospital ,some more testing and finally surgery to drain the infection out.My husband finally found a flight home.She was in for a week,and could not walk or put weight on it for a month.,she had a pik line put in for her meds,thats another nightmare story..We did not know how close we were to losing her. She just turned 31,and as a mother that pain and memory will stay with you always.You were so lucky they had it figured out that quick.At the first ER they said it could be anything from a small sprain to bone cancer. Will keep you all in my prayers,and hoping things settle down for you and your family.Sending lots of love.
Jess when your kids say they can not walk, you pick them up and run to the hospital. We easily dismiss kids when they say they are saying they feel poorly. We have all sorts of crap going around. Things like meningitis. So, a lesson learned I think.
I was sick Christmas Day with cold and flu. So Christmas went in a blur. This week I now have a disgusting sore throat. And my voice has gone. Seems everyone is getting sick this winter. All sorts going around.
Your church community looked after your family. That’s a blessing. Poor Nat. Glad she is back on her feet.

Bless Natalie's little heart. I thank God in Heaven your family's mending. I can't stand for anything to happen to children. It breaks my heart. Hope your finger gets better. So glad the fridge went before your home may have gone with it. Our electric bill was higher than normal and our surge protectors burnt up. To many surges. Had to get new microwave, washer, dryer, stove, and fridge. It was destroying everything. Electrician that fixed the problem where it came into the house said our house could have burnt. I thank God it didn't and that yours didn't. Take care and God bless you all.

That was a huge week you must only now be getting over being so tired and breathe - thank goodness for your family and church family and their love and support - Lance could have done it but he did have sick kids at home as well and the love and support of family is such a blessing

Wow Violett, had no idea. This is exactly the kind of Testimony that shows how GOD works in the life of one of His children. I cant imagine what you would've gone thru had God not paved the way from beginning to the end of that journey. I'm was so amazed the doctor was able to nail that diagnosis so quickly!! That was a God thing! So happy to see your sweet girl back on her feet and walking out of that hospital. It was a Christmas miracle! ❤😇❤

I had an episode in July 2018. I was no in the hospital for 4 days. It was scary and caused by a heat stroke.

I have heard of rhabdomyolysis, but did not realize that strep or the flu could cause it. wow! I had untreated strep back in 2012, which cause something called erythema nodosum. I had never heard of it before and it was SOO painful for many months. It's crazy what flu/strep can do to your body. I'm soo glad that Natalie is doing good and everyone else has healed up. It must have been soo scary. Thank God for everyone in your life that was able to help you get through this. ❤

My son got this when he was 8, work up sick stayed home from school, next morning can't walk. Go to the local clinic, then to a bigger hospital. They told us flu complications or cancer. Did iv and Tamaflu. Thankfully he was better in a few days. Very scary!
Yes , the Lord " is ALWAYS Good" He guides us through the rough times, & provides Good people in our paths, along the way. He knows the solution before we know the problem.

might be the only way to fix the problem it could be clogged inside or the coils need replaced if this dosent fix it might need a new fridge

As a Registered Nurse who worked in Pedistrics, I knew Rhabdomyolysis can be very serious!! Especially if it attacks every muscle, including the heart!! Prayers were answered with Natalie and Addison!! God is so good!! He protected Natalie from getting worse and He protected your other children as well!!
