Apple watch ultra looks too bulky. That is the only thing that makes me hesitate buying one

Loving my Apple Watch Ultra 2. I am rough on watches so this has been a godsend for me.Plus I need the better battery life as I work ten hours.
I got the 9 the ultra is a bit big and I like sleep tracking and may cut my forehead in middle of night with ultra lol! I like sleekness of 9. If I was an avid outdoors adventure guy I would get ultra and I have tiny wrists 👍🏻 I upgraded from the series 5 and great upgrade.
I have a Garmin forerunner 965 1000 nuits and no issue on direct sunlight. The sapphire cristal is wy you need more nits.

You missed some points in choosing which one to buy. If you choose the cheapest S9 one it alu and normal glass so if you want better materials like steel and safir glass for a longer lasting experience it's all most the same price as Ultra 2.
How about if you have had an older Apple watch - do the straps you bought fit the bigger Ultra 2 watch?

Ultra 2 for me I know 800 is expensive to a extent but considering it’s Apple and it’s the best watch they ever did it’s actually cheap I’m very surprised it’s not 1000 bucks but if the rumored watch X is gonna drop it will probably be 1000 lol
