The energy that Tom and Zendaya give to the SpiderMan MCU film series is phenomenally incredible. Its infectious in such a good way, you just cannot find anything bad to say about the films.

i think he was referring to the fact he wasn't there that day on set with them, cause they're taking about the stunt
With the way movies are made, it's perfectly within reason that the "rescue" part of the scene was shot on another day, or that there was a scheduling conflict with the actors, or that a stunt double was involved. I do also know that there are scenes with Doctor Strange where they had to shoot the actors in completely different locations because of covid and let CGI put them back in the same place for the final cut.
That being said, yes, there are certainly other implications in how Tom responded to the question. Especially given his previous "spoiler" reputation. 😆

I've been following Zendaya's career since her Disney Channel days. She shaped my childhood with her great performance in Shake It Up and K.C. Undercover. Unlike some Disney Channel stars, I'm glad she didn't disappear
I mean she fought tooth and nail not to ... by the time she was in K.C. she wanted to get out of the Disney Channel scene apparently her moral was challenged a lot on that set and her transition was challenging but had to be immediate.
Yeah she’s pretty great. I don’t like the euphoria show but I like how we has remained true to who she presents herself to be. Just seems like a chill/cool girl who doesn’t even try hard.

It’s also very likely they just used the stunt double. Even if it is Garfield’s Peter who saves her, there still may not even have been Garfield there. There’s been a lot of stunt scenes where Spider-Man is in the suit, where Holland isn’t even on set.
