Hi I just gave you a like and sub and saved this vid for future help. I have a question; I'm fairly new to photography beside the little exposure i got in middle school, if I get an R50 combo with RF-S 18-45mm + 55-210mm IS STM Bundle to practice and get used to it. When I upgrade to the R5 will i be able to use these lenses with it or will I have to buy them individually i.e 35mm, 50mm, etc.

R50 all the way. The r50 is just a better updated version of the m50

I have a question, I hope you can give me some advice ... So for me, price is definitely a deciding factor. My dream option is the R10, as it can be a great camera that I would continue using down the road (talking about 10 years+) and if I ever want to pursue a more technical path with photography, this camera would be perfect to achieve this. Although, it's out of my budget already. However, I'm tentatively looking at the R50 as a more affordable option, but the M50 MKII has a way better price. Are the R50 and M50 MKII the same thing? If I decide to go for the M50, in terms of longevity, do you think this will be a good choice? Or should I wait and save money to get the R10? It's taking me a while to buy the R10 because I have other priorities, however, I literally can buy the M50 today.
I’m in the same boat as you! I really want the sony a7siii or even the a7iv however they’re WAYY out of budget but if i were to pursue this hobby professionally it would be an ideal purchase. I think you should go with the R50 over the m50, the m50 is an 8 year old camera so the technology alone is a great reason to go with the r50 but the quality, specs, and lenses available are better when it comes to the R50

@@VickyGR96hey bro hope im not too late but i currently have an m50 and just bought a r50 and all though similar the r50 is just a complete powerhouse for the extra 1-200. The 4k is amazing way better than the 1080p offered in the m50 the picture quality isnt much of a difference but with higher shutter speeds and better settings the r50 just seems like a great option i enjoyed the m50 but this r50 will definitely do wonders

In my opinion never look at the body a new one always comes in a year or two instead invest in the glass, i went z, but this camera has some neat features

Hey bro, Would you recommend r50 or m200 ? I’m looking for beginner level 4K photography mainly and not much concerned about videos. Please suggest
I have been shooting real estate for about a year with the Canon M50 and the Laowa 9mm f/2.8 lens with mostly good results. But looking to upgrade to either the R50 or R10. The Laowa 9mm with the aps-c crop is about 13.5mm which is plenty wide for real estate, and I don't want to lose that. I will only buy the camera body since with either of these will require a wide-angle for shooting real estate photography and videography.
And of course, I need to shoot everything in raw for hdr with at least 3 exposure bracketing. I don't think there's a better lens out there for the Canon asp-c than the Laowa 9mm, let me know if it's a direct mount to these camera bodies or if an adaptor is required? Thx!

@@wolfiemedia I got the Canon R50 and the Nisi 9mm f/2.8 RF lens. Absolutely amazing! A huge upgrade from the Canon M50 and Laowa 9mm f/2.8 ef-m lens.

10000000% pick the r50. You will thank me later. The r50 is newer, with better techn , leading to better image quality and easier to use camera. The g7x mk II is GREAT budget option. So if its a budget thing then the g7x is a fine choice

I think its best if you utilize 4k, especially if you have to zoom in your edits or show products/objects in detail.

Love this camera . Only has one fault in my book . When in product focus mode you can not adjust the mic . I was hoping with the latest firmware update that would fix that issue , but it did not😑

Just got myself this! I have a trip coming up next April in Ireland. I do have a question, do you think this lens will be good enough for to capture a lot of photos of my trip or is there another you'd recommend to use as well as the stock one it comes with?
for casual travel the stock kit lens is fine. I would look into the zoom lenses just to shoot things further away. i believe there are some affordable zooms . i like the 24-105 and 24 -250. make sure you get the black plastic ones. much cheaper

As a casual photographer for my travels, would you recommend the z30 or r50? A little bit confused between these two, as the lens choices in z30 are wider, but colour science of r50 is better.
For me personally I'm gonna pick r50 for the colors.

Great video, but you got one part of it wrong. R50 cannot shoot in 10bit, it can shoot in rec 2020 and in 4:2:2 YbCc in HDR PQ mode, not not 10 bit

personally, i use the canon efs 18-200 F3.5, for the zoom, and the sigma 10-20 F4 DC HSM for those wide shots.
adding a 50mm F1.8 is also a good idea for that bokeh effect (although not very useful i recon for landscape)
The front lens looks so small. Doesn't it harm the light sensitivity?

the zve10 even thought the r50 is better. The zve10 has slog, and a as a DOP you should learn how to work with log, and learn to color grade at atleast a basic level. That being said the r50 has 10 bit color which is better than the 8 bit in the zve10

the 18-45mm lens should be a decent range for something like that, anything around 25mm for the wider landscape type shots and the higher mm for the closer more portrait like shots

If you have an iPhone 12 Pro Max or 13. You’re good with that. Don’t waste money on this if you’re only shooting still videos of you lifting or running.

@@soma_inspired_fitness369 if you are trying to get a more professional feel to you recording yourself then yes maybe get something like this but if you got any new phone, very good quality stuff can come out if you have a 2nd party app camera control thing lol sorry idk the technical terms. If you are having issues with storage just get iCloud plus for 10 a month for some decent size space.
