The Bad Guys is literally just a Lupin III reference, and is the most Lupin thing that isn’t Lupin ever.

Why do I want to hear from the creators of "Bad Boys", Confessions that they either chose to copy Lupine III in another form with "animals" or just make a reference to an anime that is 70 years old as a tribute?

Well, «Lupin III» is based on a manga and anime that was released in 1967 year. Meanwhile, the book «The Bad Guys» came out in 2015 year. So, theoretically, this is all a huge reference to Lupin III and other famous action movies :0
