Let me know if you guys wanna borrow it sometime đ
Ok
Hmmm
Here before this blows up
Welcome ppa
Should've built the paddle horizontally instead of vertically, would've held up better
I could try that if I try making another one
@CK Films yes do it
And he could start including legotechnicbriks which is useful for movements rather than the 2*4+ briks that is for low forces
Yeah
Bro threw it
"After spending days on this paddle"
shows a time lapse of him making it in a single sitting
If you watch the full video on my channel, it took days because I had to build it, then take it apart, and glue it back together. I kept running out of glue too đ
yeah thatâs how unemployed people try to accomplish a task
fr
@CK Filmsit was glued? Doesnât that kinda defeat the purpose?
@ImortalSkape how else would it hold up
⊠now run a marathon in Lego shoes
Bet đ
Bros feet would be lego by the end of that đ
You will developed shin splints worse than anyone ever before đ
Llll
L
Put an axle into it, itâll help a lot.
Hmmmmmm
you spent days on the paddle?
I had to only work on it in my free time
Gluing Legos takes more time too
@CK Filmsalso you should probably use supper glue
@CK Filmseven then thats like 2 hours worth of work
Thought this video was taking a way darker turn with the first few bricks đïž âïž
Oh my đ
You could use special bricks that connect with technic pins I feel like that would hold up better
Good idea
Why do that when hes glued all the bricks...
@The Aeroplane Think of technic pins as support beams it will not only make it harder for the glue to come undone but also harder for the pins to slide off
@The Aeroplane you just saw glue come apart, technic pins will not do that
@Elot yeah I know, I used to build. But it's the integrity of the video I'm questioning in the first place. Why does he act like the paddle is purely bricks...
Imagime playing pickleball
Lots of fun đ€©
You need to put some snot bricks on there and technic bits for strength. Go buy thors hammer and turn that into one. Build the handle and modify it.
Might not even need any glue
Thatâs a great idea
As an experienced "legoer" i want to give a few suggestions:
-build it horozintally instead of vertically
-reinforce it with technic beams
-layer lego plates for extra durability
-leave some holes to make it lighter
Also pls dont glue your lego
EDIT: Disclaimer about the holes, since im not a paddle expert i cant say if it will still hit the ball fine if they are too big. Smaller holes should be ok but they wont really reduce weight
Great tips! Thanks for the advice
People who hate pickle ball
đ
There are day I hate it đ
are you a tennis player? đ€Ł
@liv s. no just a hater on a lazy sport
@liv s.I am and I donât really see the point asides from a smaller court
This is insanely impressive đ
Thank you!
He used glue
No itâs fake
Bro spent two days on a pickle ball paddle. Respect
If you watch the full length video, youâll see why it took so long đđđŒ
Dude this is high quality how does this not have 100k likes
Thanks man I appreciate that! That truly means a lot to me đ€đŒ
@CK Films No problem man, I subbed
same@BonXD
Porque es pickleball
cuz noone has ever heard of «pickleball»
You should use plastic welds to hold those points and it probably will hold for awhile
Thatâs a good idea
If you go like horizontal and then a layer of vertical rinse and repeat, Iâm sure it would work amazingly!
Ooo good idea
If you actually want the paddle to hold, solder the plastic together piece-by-piece. Actually making it one solid held together lump of plastic is the best way to keep it from separating.
Smart
âafter spending daysâ
If you watch the full length video on my channel, it did indeed take a couple of days from start to finish. I spent one night initially building the paddle. The next night, I started the process of gluing the paddle, and then finally later finished gluing the paddle and added grip tape to the handle. All together, it probably didnât take 24 hours of nonstop work. But it did take time spent across multiple days to complete. Hope that makes sense đ€đŒ
How did you spend DAYS on making a lego paddle when it was all caught in the timelapse đ
that's so cute, the little *serotonin* đđ«¶đŒđđđđ€đ€
Love the serotonin
This is the kind of content I'm here for. Its silly, doesn't harm anyone or the environment, doesn't waste resources, and doesn't promote bad/unsafe behaviors.
I was really rooting for that paddle to work too đ
he used glue and plastic it harms the environment and he lied about it taking days to make literally showed a video of him doing it in minutes.
I literally spent days working on it đ watch the full CZcams video for proof bozo đ donât just comment things before you actually know what the truth is
Exactly! Just fun content :)
@CK Filmsplease ignore the mean comments, we love you bro
Instead of glue, apply acetone to the bricks. It'll break them down, and fuse the two pieces together. Its what they use on the lego sculptures at the parks
That wouldâve been smart
WHAT THE FUCK IS PICKLEBALL dumbledore asked calmly
đđđ
Underrated channel, subbed.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that đđŒ
Use the thin legos, everyone knows those ainât coming apart đ
Trueeeeeee đ
it doesnât matter how thick you make it or how much glue you put on it (though maybe if you used an acid, to melt the bricks together that could work better) , since thereâs only two major contact points for the top of the racket to be connected to the handle itâll always have structural instability at that location.
I would see if thereâs square pieces with a cross cutout in the middle (donât know what theyâre called, but I know they have round ones like that) and put the x shaped bar through the thing
Yeah it could use more stability
@CK Films just a little haha, the rest of it seems pretty solid
my anxiety rises whenever he swings that thing lmao
Same đ
You should use modeling glue. It is a type of glue that melts plastic so when it dries it basically is just one big piece.
Oh smart
Bro committed the ultimate sin and glued his Legos!
My bad đ
How did it take 2 days to build that thing i could build it in 3 min
I only had a bit of time every day to work on it. Watch the full video to see the entire process :)
As a tennis player pickleball is just the tennis version of spikeball. Complete with all the chads and trendiness.
Nice đ
I need to build up my confidence and paddle ball in the same context is hilarious
đđ
I'm concerned that it took you days.
Watch the full video. It took days to build and glue due to time constraints each day
"after days building up this paddle"
*Shows a time lapse of him doing it in literally one sitting*
If you watch the full length video on my channel, youâll see why it took so long to make. I promise I wasnât lying. Hope that clears things up! :)
There is something called super glue đż
I used it đđ
Before watching the test, i can tell this is gonna snap before it hits the ball đ
Edit: i was, kinda wrong
But you were also kinda right
Yeah cus he used glue
Mario tennis be like :
Yup đ
Itâs probably a lot heaver than normal paddles
Itâs waaaaaaaay heavier
Very nice editing đ
Thank you!
it took you days to make a 1 block thick pickleball paddle?
truely one of our generations finest minds.
If you watch the full length video on my channel, youâll see why it took so long to make. I promise I wasnât lying. Hope that clears things up! :)
Now fly to the moon with only legos.
Bet
You should use plates! It'll be harder to get apart but will hold up way better
Trueee
I had literally no idea what a pickleball was until I saw meatcanyon's video on pickleball and literally after 2 swipes i see this video.
Haha nice
Do triple layers and intertwine the blocks as best as you can with glue to as well if you cant do 3 then 2 works also
Ooooo good call
Use plastic weld instead of glue. It'll never break.
Smart
Yeah If it was gonna break it was going to be that spot all along since that part over the handle actually is the part that has to take the most resistance so it needs to be able to flex a bit especially with the little area of contact would probs make it strain quite a lot
Yup
if you're really good with Legos you would've never needed glue
True
"after spending days working on this paddle" bro made it in 1 day
If you watch the full length video on my channel, youâll see why it took so long to make. I promise I wasnât lying. Hope that clears things up! :)
@CK Films đđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđđ
You could use tecnic pieces, maybe some 1x10s or more so itâs a little bit stiffer at least in the handle
Smart idea
"Takes days" and proceeds to make it in one quick clip
If you watch the full length video on my channel, youâll see why it took so long to make. I promise I wasnât lying. Hope that clears things up! :)
Coat it in Epoxy Resin and youâre good to go
Great suggestion! That just might work
I would have recommended using Technic
Mightâve been better
âSun is shining In the sky. There ainât a cloud in sight. Itâs stopped raining, everybodyâs in the play and donât you know, itâs a beautiful new day. Running down the avenue, see how the sun shines brightly, on the city, oh the streets where once was pity and today, is the day weâve waited for. Mr blue sky please tell us why you had to hide away for so long (so long) where did we go wrong. Mr blue sky please tell us why you had to hide away for so long (so long) where did we go wrong *guitar solo*â -electric light orchestra
Beautiful
Bro enchanted his lego with protection 4
đđđ
Never put glue, EVER.
Iâm sorry đ
You should have superglued the peices together
I did đ and it still didnât stay together
@CK Films I mean...it lasted longer then I expected
Bro unlock a skin.
This isnât Fortnite đ
I think you had autocorrect on that days part
If you watch the full video on my channel, youâll see that it took only a short amount of time to build it, but taking it apart and gluing it together took longer. Especially since I kept running out đ
*If you glue the individual pieces with epoxy and coat it you can actually use it full force*
Smart
You can put those lego sticks in it for extra strengthđ
Good idea!
Unfortunately your paddle has had a catastrophic malfunction. Iâm going to have to ask you to leave the court.
My bad đ„
I like how he used super glue đ. If the paddle wasn't super glued it would break
If I didnât it wouldâve shattered everywhere đ
Im surprised it didnât collapse under its own weight when you built it vertically, reminds me of when I was making a Lego sword as a kid đ€Ł
I probably couldâve built it differently đ
no way it took you âdaysâ to make thatđđ
If you watch the full length video on my channel, youâll see why it took so long to make. I promise I wasnât lying. Hope that clears things up! :)
Now build a ping-pong ball out of Legođđ
That sounds easier đ
Should just combine a bunch of technic pieces. They hold up way better
Smart
the way he said it took days and nothing changed with him making it in the first clip đ
Watch the full length video on my channel đ itâll make more sense
I can imagine this as a Lego ad
Show your true master builder
Build anything,
You can even build sports!
*Lego noises*
Set HIKE!
(Also this is in that 1 voice that's always somehow fast)
True true
That one unemployed friend on a tuesday
True
Use something like acetone to melt the pieces together... Some people use MEK to get it to bond, but that stuff is apperently super toxic
Smart
if you spent days building that paddle, you had a very unfulfilling childhood.
If you watch the full length video on my channel, youâll see why it took so long to make. I promise I wasnât lying. Hope that clears things up! :)
Would be MUCH stronger if you made it out of plates!
Thatâs what people have been saying!
Build it with bricks that have studs facing out and then put plates on the outside and glue
Not a bad idea
The ONLY reason I know what pickle ball is, is because it was a game on cool math. Iykyk đ
Hahaha nice
Why did i think it was supposed to be a basketball hoop thingđ
I donât know đ
Youâve got weak points at the two points either side of the paddle. Idk what the regulations are but if you can connect that whole part, or use pin connectors like another comment suggested (maybe even some illegal building techniques) it should work. Looks cool!
Thanks!
"Spent days building" bro meant to say "1 hour building"
Watch the full video on my channel. I show the entire process over the process of a few days
Bro Said he spent days biodling itđ€Šđœđ
If you watch the full length video on my channel, youâll see why it took so long to make. I promise I wasnât lying. Hope that clears things up! :)
Regular Lego would have shattered on the first hit. The paddle was glued
Yes it was. I never said it wasnât đ
Days? You can build that in 20 mins bro.
If you watch the full length video on my channel, youâll see why it took so long to make. I promise I wasnât lying. Hope that clears things up! :)
You could have made that paddle way stronger with a bunch of 1x2 bricks
True
Pickleball is the biggest ick đ
Luckily is a turn on for me
I think putting tehnic pieces in between the bricks would make it hold on better
That could work
after spending DAYS ON THIS PADDLE
Watch the full length video on my channel and youâll understand why đ
It coulda easily been more structurally stable
I know, just working with what I had đ
Bro, literally made it with glue and Legos
Yup
Ohhhhh⊠he gluuueed it- that makes a lot more senseâŠ
Si senor
You can use acetone like LEGO does, but only a little
Ooo smart
Maybe I just know even less about Lego than I thought I did, but how did that take you days to build?
If you watch the full length video on my channel, youâll see why it took so long to make. I promise I wasnât lying. Hope that clears things up! :)
I heard brushing the connecting surfaces with acetone the legos sort of melt into eachother creating a stronger build! That could be worth a shot
Good idea for the next build
i did it with a table tennis paddle and it held up perfectly
Thatâs awesome
Using glue on Legos is forbidden
My bad đ
The painđđđđđđđđđ
We will build back stronger đ
I think y'all should use a really strong glue like gorilla glue or something like that.
Smart
Build it with those flat pieces i used to build cars out of scratch and the super flat ones always hold together
Good call
It only held up that well because you glued it, still pretty impressive though đ
I know, i definitely needed more glue đ
why were y'all filming at night thoođ€đ€
Friends worked during the day. Only time we could go
Use a lot of technic pins and bricks to help the structural stability
That actually might work
"after spending days" I'm guessing that was sarcasm đ
If you watch the full length video on my channel, youâll see why it took so long to make. I promise I wasnât lying. Hope that clears things up! :)
