Just on the socket for the trailer lights on the Puma. I moved mine up to the higher position where the air brakes are connected as oil from the spools were dripping down into it and it keeps wire from trailer lights out of harms way of the linkage arms too. Another job for Mick... Great video and very informative lads!
The rams on the dump trailer are for weight transfer, when you tip the trailer the 2 rams come down on the bogies and transfer the weight on your the drawbar eye giving you better traction
I smiled when I heard the tanker had been turned over. That era and size of hi spec sat higher on the chassis and a few in my area felt over. If you follow one full compared to another make they sway a lot.I operate one with a dent in the side also. It slipped and caught a rut and went over when new in 2009
Great video as always what about running the electrical cable up through the centre one of the air suzzies it will keep it out of harms way on the trailer
@@finnegansfarm9137 Around 11:00 You mention cleaning out the vacuum tanker. The potential danger with this is if there is a residue of slurry left in the tank and a crust forms on it, breaking this crust can release toxic gases, similar to agitating a slatted tank. The gasses produced by even a small amount of slurry could be lethal in the confines of a vacuum tanker, people might not be aware of this danger, perhaps You could highlight it in a future episode.
Wen r u going to realise that John Deere r scrap...many a John Deere i pulled out with a valtra and id still pull any john deere up and down any field....
Great tanker .u could go anywhere once a valtra is pulling it
I like Mick’s case international hat, especially when he has twin sons who both work at Mid Louth garage in Ardee.
He loves Case 👍
And so do Kevin and Robert. A lot of today’s Case tractors remind me of the 2 friendly twins themselves 👯♂️
Great to c marco bk on the camera that hi spec tanker looks well with the new lights u need good lights on big machines now a days great video lads
Cheers Johnny 👍

You done the right job moving them up should be done on all pumas as you say another job for Mick 🙈
Great video Paul. Enjoyed watching 👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks John 👍
Great idea highlighting the theft of the Land Cruiser
It’s so annoying and unfortunately the thieves always seem to get away need more punishment for our criminal system 👍
Boys that took jeep might have not if they feared getting 40 lashes whip
Light steel
Valtra number 1.. John Deere...dirt
Put tennis balls in the lift arms
👍perfect have done
Good banter between yourself Mick and Marco.
Bit of craic 👍

I yes wheel base narrow and wheel too tall they have caught out many a good operator
Great video lads, marco for the green cert next
Doesn’t like the cattle at all 🤔
Valtra 8450 v 6910...
Did you paint a protective coating inside the tranker when you had it well cleaned out?
No decided against it probably will replace tanker in near future a lot of prep work involved in that
Pipe fab make good replacement exhausts just don’t think they would have one for a 8430 ready made in stock
I did call them but never made one for 8430
Great video as always what about running the electrical cable up through the centre one of the air suzzies it will keep it out of harms way on the trailer
Good idea however some of older tractors don’t have air and we use shunt button to move around so air not always connected 👍
Mick you’re right weigh transfer
👏David
Where did ye get the decals made for the tanker? I’m looking for a set for my own.
Great video👍🏻
Bought them from Hispec around €100 mark for everything
@@finnegansfarm9137 great thanks👌
Be careful with fumes in the tank
As always well vented with masks on sometimes our farming community fall down a lot in this area more education needed 👍
