To my understanding, he still owns that large house that he built. So I can say that he did make use of the money wisely, to an extent.
I think the problem was all the clothes, cars, house items etc.
But I've seen people blow their money in much worse ways than this. It didn't turn out extremely bad for him, at the end of it all. At least he still has the house and is earning rental income from it.

@@thandokhuse6649 1. Why do black people like comparing themselves to white ppl, this is really annoying.
      2. That is why I said "it was probably his first experience with money". Most black people are poor so when they get a fortune they use this money to create an identity for themselves. When you are poor you have a different relationship with money. You work for money instead of money working for you. This is due to non - exposure to business people who would teach you. On the other hand those white people you're talking about have countless of family members who are involved in businesses and access to investment opportunities. So by the time he gets access to a truck load of cash, he already knows how to multiply this because of practical exposure.
I'm not completely disagreeing with you, there are certain races (due to culture and environment) who are extremely financially savvy. Jews, Arabs and Indians are a prime example. This isn't due to wiring, but discipline, culture and your environment plays a huge part in how you see/view money and wealth.

not huge amount. he got 1.185million. Plot, house, labour, 3 second hand cars, curtains, furniture... that cost him around 800k. only 285K was left for parties, petrol, hangers-on. And the furniture he sold would have cost less than 10,000 when he sold it for beer. And out of that 285K, he would have spend close to 80k on clothes for himself, his sister and his wife.
