@@joescannoli7660 I am afraid to tell you that you actually can do business with a foreign company with out speaking their language, normally in english, and in this case that the company is actively hiring english speaking people it is to be expected the use of translators and intermediaries (in these case their manager Enma does the middleman work I would say)
All in all it doesn't mean that she doesn't speak Japanese, but I think to recall her telling that she didn't have any actual knowledge of the language outside what I guess we can call weeb knowledge.
