I was there when Lil Louis became a house legend. I was born and raised in Chicago, and there was no place else that had more house Dj's. I have been truly blessed to party at the best parties such as: Bismark, Medusa's, Sauers, Music Box, The Loft, The Reactor, The Powerhouse, The Hyde Park Racket Ball Club, McCormick Hotel, Igloo, COD, Coconuts, AKA's, Hotel Continental, the list goes on. These party's had sweat on the floors so much, your shoes would become grey, no one had shirts on, everybody's ear rang so much afterwards, the sun was coming up when we left, the bass in the speakers were so powerful, it made your chest pump! Thank God for my house, and God bless all the househeads still alive today! Love, Jerry from the northside of Chicago.

It's shorter, the vocal is mixed better, the master is better and there's some extra sparkle toward the end. Sorry about the wait x New CZcams Link: czcams.com/video/aCOYNKayXa8/video.html
OH Jesus!!! I WANT THIS VERSION!!! I NEED THIS VERSION!!! I AM AT WORK, AND WORK IS QUIET, AND I AM SCREAMING IN MY MIND RIGHT NOW AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Anyone remember Lil Louis at Medusa's??? I sure do! Copping a 40 off of Belmont, drinking it and then climbing them steep ass stairs at Medusa's to hear some pure House Music!!! I miss them days.
Thomas Bowling Ok... You got me with Bizmark Pavillion. But... for the North Side (I'm from Rogers Park), we had Medusa's, C.O.D., The Stepps, A.K.A.s, and The Riv popping in the 80's to 90's.
+Thomas Bowling Naw bro, don't say that shit about Medusas. Medusas was a cultural phenomenon that united all people under one roof. Rich kids, poor kids, head-bangers, gang-bangers, skinheads, blacks, hispanics, gay, straight, Bisexual, goth kids, punk-rock kids, asians and white suburban kids. Chicago was always a heavily segregated city, and places like Medusas helped shape the social environment of the city that we have today.
My brothers in House, full credit to the edit, but if you can't get the download just mix equatoriale with the my house acapella. Slap on some echo on my house, do a little iso work and bam, 80% there.
I'm cei bei lil Louis brother, I'm the voice on both his albums on epic records, I was in the mist of all of that, I was there when Louis showed farley how to scratch at his house on the south side of Chicago, I never have lie about nothing nowhere bro, been in this house since 84 pimpin, that me saying ( come on) club lonely that's me saying ( the light come on the lights of out ,blackout at flick of God's switch) never young bro, I WAS THERE ,BELIEVE WHAT YOU WANT, WBMX ASKED LOUIS TO BE ON THE HOT MIX FIVE ,HE TURNED IT (FARLEY JUMPED AT THE CHANCE,LOUIS REMAINED TO STAY UNDERGROUND AND DO PARTIES ,THATS WHY I SAY FARLEY IS A COMMERCIAL DJ, FROM THE RADIO TO CLARIFY.
Diamond Promotions right? Or was it Gucci? One of those. You look just like dude. I used to hang with Charod Temple and them. I met him when we worked together at Bennigan's on North Michigan Avenue. Me and Charod caught up on FB awhile back and had a good time reliving some old memories from 1986 and that whole era. But yeah I remember you dude if you are actually his brother. Used to wear black suits a lot or at least when I would see you on the party circuits like Bismark and all that.
+curtsongz361 Wow did you just say what I think you just said.... Dude you must be really really really young. Next you're going to be saying Boolu taught Larry Levan hahahahaha
I would say Farley had the radio, Ron and Luis had the streets! Farley had the streets to, Hyde Park racquetball club, parties thru out the city and suburbs!
Farley and Lil Louis were amazing in their day (particularly Lil Louis) but they've been surpassed as producers and DJs. No one now compares to Kerri Chandler when it comes to Deep House and US Garage. Been the most consistently excellent DJ and producer for 20 years. Seen him live 12 times and each time he was utterly awesome. I can't say the same concerning Farley or Lil Louis.

@@hotwax761 I think you're speaking on Frankie Knuckles. Lil Louis is a Chicago native.
@@hotwax761 Yeah. That part is not true.
I would have liked to participate, SERIOUS
