I was on the Breakaway the 10th when it came into port in the morning. Im from PA and fish the Ohio. I seen lots of good looking cat water on the Mississippi leaving port. The whole time we were on the river I kept thinking about catching cats out there.

What size reels are those that you use? Are they the 3000 series, 3500 series, or the 4000 series, and what name brand are those that you use?

That ship is HUGE!!! so they bring european money spenders to new orleans?? Had no idea these humungus cruise ships went into rivers. So they get off on a day pass and what do they do there?? Just booze and fornicate?
The boats leave from here it's not treated as a destination but I'm sure ppl are spending time before and or after the cruise in New Orleans. While there is plenty of booze we also have great food and tons of history, museums from the WW2, Art, children's and botanical gardens. Several large parks, one of the best zoos in the United States and an aquarium.
I feel like I gained an hour of fishing.
