Unfortunately this also came on a day that we lost a brother in this community, Carlos (Brooklyn Fragrance Lover). He was one of the pioneers of this community, and he will be truly missed! Recently got into exploring my love of fragrance, and Carlos' BFL channel was my main source of information initially, being from Brooklyn as well, I instantly trusted his opinions.
While your channel, and others I subsequently discovered through BFL like Redolessence, give me somewhere to go in the future to learn about new fragrances, I have been watching BFL almost non stop since yesterday.
I like everyone else will miss him a great deal, but I want to also say thanks to you Darian. You're a huge inspiration to me, an Iraq veteran of color, with building self confidence, and learning about style and fragrances.

As for the fragrances, I actually Love Aoud Lemon Mint. If you spray it on your skin or clothes it is a beast and the smoothest fresh scent I own. I wear it all year round with no regrets. It dries down and takes a turn for the better (calming oud,vanilla, creaminess but that fresh opening pops up every once in a while to remind you of the citrus).
Black Gold has been love/hate for me....sometimes smells linear and sometimes I pick up some the notes but I had NO IDEA it had so many notes when I looked it up on their website.
Red Tobacco smelled so good to me but didn't smell good ON me, gave it to my homie as a Bday gift and works well for him. To me it smelled like chocolate, tobacco, and green apple at once which is actually a great combination. The tobacco on me smelled like old, wet tobacco and didn't sit right with me. My boy said the ladies love it on him, so you know the saying "Any win is a team win!"

Thank you for doing a segment on Mancera fragrances. Never been a huge fan of them, but I have bought a couple of their bottles. OMG... that Red Tobacco is a BEAST mode fragrance!! All you need is 2 squirts, and you're done for the day. That's a powerful fragrance right there! Never smelled Sicily or Black Gold. I'll have to "Scent Split" those to see if I like them! :-)

I can’t get enough of instant crush from mancera. I know your a BR540 guy and I’m sure you’ve smelled instant crush but it’s my preferance. Mancera has some incredible fragrances. I often buy the smaller bottles of them.
