In a 2019 interview, Aurora stated she was diagnosed with autism as a child. How she uses her arms and hands to emphasize her words, and how she moves when 'lost in the music' is pretty much her 'stimming'! It's when someone with sensory or communication issues moves their hands and arms in unusual ways to convey different emotions. For her, it's usually happy stimming(quick vertical movements of the hands or arms, or swivling her hands back and forth), or 'projecting', which is pushing out with her hands with her more intense vocals. Stimming can be with more than just hands, but that's the basics from a fellow Autistic person.

@@lunamoon6410 My friend has a little girl ( not so little now she is 11 lol) but she is nonverbal and only repeats the last word she hers, but turn on her favorite song and OMG the sounds that come out of her mouth............. she has the most beautiful voice. I think Music is the best thing int he universe for our kids special needs or not. You can tell the mood I am in by what I am listening too. Sometimes I don't even realize what I am truly feeling until I start turning the music up. I Rock to stim, but music seems to help more than any other stim I have.

Live performing is all about emotions and feelings and she has lots of it.
I feel like live she doesn't always have 100% perfect control of her voice, BUT that's good in terms of how she expresses emotion in her songs. Does that make sense? It just makes both her live and in her studio albums good for me, but good for different reasons.
go to one of her gigs if you want to have your soul set alight, she's like nothing else I've witnessed
I found her yesterday, and it was such a revelation. We are all unique, but some are unique and free. She is such a free soul. We need to spread freedom at the way she is spreading her voice, her movements and her meanings. Looking at her you realise life has always more to offer than we are thinking, just need to scrap the surface and we will find it. Always.

It's sad that we found Aurora just recently, because i notice that i could have found her before, but i just know her now. She with her music changed my mind in a short time. I would like to have followed her since the beginning of her career. But... the important thing is that at least we are having the privilege of being living in the same generation as her, we're still gonna see many masterpieces haha❤️😭

I love to hear her over the darkest and heaviest moments on this song, would love to here more of that type of production. And the chorus humming on that part really brings out the traditional Norwegian folk influence, and its beautiful darkness... like im washed by velvet, thank you.
