I’ve been singing Axial Lacuna’s praises for a bit. It’s not the absolute best but it’s 95% there and is definitely the easiest to get
Absolutely, it’s only a little bit worse than C.C and loses Lead From Gold, but it is so very close that it’s almost always good
@@MrTea830 honestly for me special is reliable enough that I don’t find myself needing lead from gold on a fusion (something like the call is different), and I’d rather have reconstruct. You can get out 14 shots without reloading and with controlled burst that’s some crazy damage potential in longer dps phases
@@nyalan8385 100%, I think lead is mainly used for getting ammo back up in master content where ammo is tighter, but for normal runs, yeah reconstruction is much easier to use
Axial Lacuna is a bit of a hard sell to people with a crafted Eremite as high impact frames have innately more DPS than precisions. That being said reconstruction IS a decent QOL improvement over Envious. Though if you missed Eremite, Axial Lacuna is def the closest thing available as Eremite is not obtainable outside of random freak drops from Xur ATM.
I personally do not like Eremite, I always seem to do more damage with C.C and Axial. But 100% Axial being the new yearly craftable weapon definitely gives it more pros than cons
@@MrTea830 I will not deny. High impacts do FEEL bad and depending on timing you can lose a shot due to the long charge time. Also envious can be an absolute pain in the butt sometimes because you need weapon kills to proc it and often times I am running an ability spam build or there just are not enough enemies to kill before damage in certain situation. Ran into that issue trying to do my own testing with edge transit on this boss.
@@TalarueI don’t have Eremite nor Cartesian (w/ vorpal) but I’ve got a crafted Royal Executioner w/ enh env assassin and res burst. Is the Axial Lacuna an improvement over this? I can almost craft it if need be.
@ocean_0602 Axial with recon controlled burst will perform much more consistently than that royal executioner roll because reservoir burst won't effect the last 6 rounds if the mag. The royal executioner roll will not perform poorly by any stretch but axial will edge it out in the DPS department. Would still keep the royal executioner around though. Reservoir burst is fun for bursting majors and watching them go boom.
high impact fusion is DPS loss in a rotation
Funny enough I have been running the same load out for dungeon runs and been almost one phasing each boss. Cartesian, witherhord, and cataclysmic was my favorite damage meta
Remember when LFR's were actually decent and not nerfed into the floor? happy days
Will it? I’ve don’t have Cartesian, but from what I see it has a much better charge time. I’m curious to hear from those who’ve used both which is the better option
Most likely it will replace it, as C.C is very old and people may not have the lead + vorpal roll with a charge time masterwork, whereas Axial is crafted and easily acquired. Yes it loses out a little bit, but other than that it’s very good
@@MrTea830 makes sense, axial being easily acquired is definitely to its benefit. I’m not a warlock main but I’ve usually seen them stick to Cartesian for max DPS. I’m curious as to why Axial would be chosen over something like Techuan, eremite or scatter signal?
@@T0mBr1dg3techeun is basically the same but arc so with a different surge match, eg anarchy, scatter signal is different slot so cant really compare, and eremite is probably slightly worse since recon is better than envious because of no requirement and axial has a shorter charge time aswell
oh wow, i gota craft the new fusion
Thanks ill make one.
Dude I’m binge watching all of your videos lmao your great at Destiny 2 the video game. Can I request you do a video with the best well+apotheosis veil+dragons breath rotation? Your the dragons breath god and I’m broke so I don’t have TFS yet. New sub
I’ll have a test out of some builds
@@MrTea830 yeii thanks
is edge transit not better for damage in general, since the artifact perk makes void sources do more to weakened targets?
It is but dragon breath stun him easily for easy testing
Also this boss literally shreds health bars in record speed, so it’s a general safety strat. I’ve been doing edge against him and it looks like a one phase is VERY close and possible, but the ogre truly shreds and is annoying
@@MrTea830ok makes sense
Which roll are you almost 1 phasing? Thanks
@@justfire123 video currently out on the channel
i thought cartesian has been replaced for a while
Potentially, but I think it’s still the best / 2nd best option for solar fusion rifles as it’s a rapid fire and all my testing shows C.C does more damage. However, Axial comes within 500k damage of C.C while also not being a rapid fire frame.
What class item do you have
optimal is necrotic + star eaters, but i have apotheosis + star eaters
spoiler no
Is apotheosis needed to do this kinda dps? I have a star eater/ostio one, i know apotheosis is only used to extend the weaken effect from the void grenades
Yes for only one reason, it gives a second rift that we use to proc hellion a second time, which allows us to ignite the boss and stun him for a third time, giving us the clear
You REALLY need necrotic, as that’s what bumps the damage numbers
