I feel like this is the perfect description of BPD (borderline personality disorder). Sometimes you’re on top of the world and you’ve never felt better, but then you drop, and every little thing anyone’s ever said comes rushing back, and you’re trapped in your own head whilst the thoughts get louder and louder. It might look like you’re fine, but on the inside you’re suffocating, and until you swing again, you’re trapped like that
That feeling of being trapped and finding it hard to breathe is so common for people with so many different things going on to feel. I hope if you're dealing with that, that you're healing and improving, friend! And if you ever feel like that, remember you're not the only one!
Something about dark lyrics and upbeat music just brings this all to light. The pain everyone feels is hidden behind a façade, and only the person feeling the pain knows how it feels.

I really fucking love the lyrics while the song is such happy sounding. It's such an unique own type of music style for me.
Someone like me, I am very very optimistic and I enjoy life at the fullest I can. One day when i will fall down real bad, I will hate when I get that way. But I just know i can put some 8 Graves on and it will help like nothing else. It tells me that it's never the time to leave. We have this one life. Why spend it there, where you hate to be. Where you don't want to be. I've been through a lot but that's what taught me this. Sure stuff is going to hurt in life. But it will be in the past later. We can't go back to change it. Enjoy it while you got it. Try not to regret things because that's life. That really makes me suffocate. It breaks me when I really thing about it.

Astutely reminds me of how family and friends you believed you could trust you bring you down, how deeply words and actions affect us all, and how mental health and family are correlated and why some cries for help are serious, and are silent as those who feel this feel as if they are drowning in the negativity and disapproval by almost everyone around them. When I was lost in life, with no parents, family, friends, and just anyone to talk to, I covered myself in your music. Listening to music and having someone say the same things I wished to express, really helped me lose my stress. It felt as if someone was there with me to help through my depression. I want you to know that in these past 3 years, you helped me grow as a person and really kept me in check with my life. Without music and really awesome artists like you, I don’t know how I would have ended up.

It's only been a few days and this song has already done so much for me. When I listened to it for the first time it made me smile cause it's incredibly good. Sounds magical, really, the whole reverby vibe really fits the "my mind is in space" line. The drop is so cathartic and melodic, great to listen to. The moment when it slows down for a bit and then hits you right in the face is just MMMmM awesome. You crushed the EP, happy to be a witness of another amazing coherent era!
The prerelease absence didn't upset me much cuz I was already a total mess that day lol you know why. So maybe it's for the better we get to hang some other day! The song put on repeat really helped me focus on the drawing and be withdrawn from all the thoughts, I'm really thankful for it.
So unique that the melody and the lyrics have the exact opposite vibe and sound great together, love that. You're the experts of creating these interesting oxymorons. And now when I'm listening closely and paying attention to the lyrics man it is actually hella relatable //except drinking, I sleep to forget//. It actually makes me tear up. I know that feeling of betrayal when the closest ones hurt you the most. After that horrible day I literally got yelled at for existing for no reason like eh right, good timing ty. Doing better as I know the thing I'm writing now has meaning and can brighten your day a bit. I feel less alone knowing that someone who lives a completely different life and across the whole ocean has experienced similar things and does care. Listening to this is like sharing worries with a close one and it's a wonderful experience. Crazy to think about how different we (and other people in the comments) are and still connect to the same meaning. You translate these feelings so damn well that it touches me and I couldn't imagine something better. You remind me that it will get better no matter how desperate I feel. If you've been through shit and got out then it means I also can, even if it's suffocating now. One day I'm gonna get it, as one wise man once wrote in his lyrics. Amazes me how genuine and creative you are every time, I'm lucky to exist at the same point of time as you. Thank you for inspiring me.💙
I've just translated it to my mom like "yo you'll get it too" and she went on a thoughtful rant about you being so on point with the meaning, like how well the lyrics resonate with her experience. After years of depression and loneliness I think I finally found someone in my life... But I'm suffocating from the pressure that something might go wrong. And I absolutely hate it when I get this way. That's how this beautiful song reached to me.

Remember that when you find someone, as you have, it proves a lot of things. For me, the most important lesson I learned was, I’m not unlovable. I’m not broken. I’m not bad. If that person stays, which I hope they do, or they go, those things still are true. If you care about that person, the best thing you can do is reaffirm the things you have learned about yourself. Continue to heal. Continue to grow. Be the best you that you can be. And that is the best for everyone.
