  • More of a gravel ride but a couple of couple cheeky descents. 31miles and 3000ft of climbing. Code so in Ambleside and a ferry ride across Windermere. 👌
Our videos are generally of me having fun on my 2020 (MY20) giant trance e+ ebike (27.5) and Mrs W on her Trek rail 7 (29er). We tend to explore the byways, rights of ways, unmetalised roads, green lanes, bridlepaths, singletrack and double track where we can find it. This usually involves the stuff fairly close to home including regular forays onto Exmoor. Occasionally we make it further afield including Dartmoor, the Quantock hills, Mendips, bike park Wales and the forest of Dean.
Mrs W was running a Trek Powerfly hardtail originally but has now switched to a Trek Rail 7 full sus.
I'm running rrp front and rear mudguards, the head unit is a garmin 530. The filming is mostly gopro 10 on a chest mount.
If I'm looking at my watch it's a garmin 735xt. My experience with occasional warranty claims keeps me coming back to Garmin. 🤷‍♂️
After a few big crashes and the fact I'm not getting any younger (in my 50's and inept) I normally use a Met Parachute full face helmet and the rest of my gear is usually a mix of fox and endura.
