With each passing week my dislike for Raighle increases and I used to be a big fan of her. I'll say this again Raighle made her account for educational purposes but it's nolonger that but belittlement and hate towards other equestrians. She thinks she's helping people/disciplines by making videos about them but she's not! All she's doing is spreading misinformation and causing her toxic fans to go after people who don't deserve it. Under the same video Raighle made about Harlow there's thousands of hate comments about Harlow which Raighle is perfectly happy with them being there. If she wasn't for the hate she would of deleted them. .... Under my video, I had to delete so many hate comments and comments targeting Harlow in defense of Raleigh. *Saying she deserves to get hate, that she's an abuser, that it's normal for her to get death threats, that just because she's a child doesn't mean she shouldn't be harassed.* Like guys wtf is wrong with yall, you guys are only proving how toxic Raighle's fans are omg. Children make mistakes and they learn there's absolutely no reason to be attacking a literal child like yall are doing, it's disgusting and you should be ashamed.

She specifically makes these videos for the parents (like with DaybyDay’s fiasco) and the parents make their kids respond. Lord help me ok so Raleigh NEVER hated on Harlow. She hated on her irresponsible parents and trainer. Harlow is a child and Raleigh states very clearly that she does not blame the child. Harlow is too big for her ponies. She is over the 20% rule and before you call bullshit on the 20% rule, look it up. Plenty of vet studies back it up and if you ignore it you’re stupid. Do not take Raleigh’s videos out of context when you haven’t watched the whole thing and don’t know her enough to judge. Go watch the video and educate yourselves.
Harlow is a child, a minor, and is still learning. She does not deserve any hate at all. Maybe constructive criticism but not hate. And Raleigh states that clearly

Raleigh isn’t trying to hate on Harlow, she’s trying to help and express her opinion to HARLOW’S PARENTS, because she knows that it’s not Harlow’s fault, we all know that but she is riding a Shetland pony, Shetlands max weight rider is 110 lb, Harlow could be around that weight or a bit bigger, I’m not sure, but if she is over, she needs to move up to a small horse atleast, for both Harlow and cloudy’s sake, I’m not trying to hate on anyone, it’s your opinion and that’s fine, so let Raleigh have hers, ok? Besides, 20% rule is including tack, and her plus tack is definitely more than cloudy should have (he’s on the smaller side for shetlands)

Raleigh SPECIFICALLY said that the video she made was not made for Harlow to see, only her parents. The reason wasn’t so Raleigh could hate on Harlow without her knowing, it’s so she could educate and try to redirect Harlow’s parents.

There was a real issue with DaybyDay when Raleigh put the spotlight on them and I do think that was responsible and appropriate. Harlow, on the other hand-while she makes some mistakes, like all young equestrians-is likely doing better than the majority of horsey children her age.

Its because you def look too big to be riding that pony. The 20% rule is there for the horses safety. If you cared about your pony, you would make sure you're withing 20% of her weight before riding the pony. This isnt coming from a place of hate, I have just seen too many ponies develope back issues later on because people too big to be riding them are riding them.
*20% for a Shetland is 80-90ps, and for her other pony Popcorn who's 12hs is 100-160ps.* It's honestly so disappointing people are out here shaming a child about them being too "big or heavy" for riding ponies when literal adults fit into the 20%-30% of them. Don't be using the 20% as a way to "advocate" for the horse when you don't even know the weight of the horse nor rider, or how to do basic math 🤦♀️ Not to mention there's been two recent studies on weight carry that both stated a well built horse who's fit and conditioned can carry even 30% before they even start to show signs of discomfort.

Regardless of ANYONE TELLING ANYONE anything. I know nothing about this girl her family etc. Watching her ride she seems an accomplished rider. I am 65 now but competed in barrel racing, showmanship, trail, english equitation Hunter Jumper and finally dressage to 4th level and worked drafts in harness to cart and pulling logs on backyard horses and was placed over many well bred imported horses whos family had a ton more money than i did. I also competed in pony club to the A level and trained my own horses. As a general rule. Once your heel/ankle drops below the ponies belly you are too tall for that pony. If you think about it correct heel leg position HAS TO BE CORRECT so your horse feels your leg cues. If your ankle/heel is below the belly you are having to pull your leg up and back thereby pinching with your knees ruining your seat and probably confusing your horse by doing so. Also will change your hand position which changes your contact with the horses mouth. Usually bringing their head up as well to stay on the bit but this drops the back that your sitting on. I can here Raleigh frustration in her tone. She is technically and functionaly correct in that this young lady has outgrown her ponies and as she appears accomplished to ride a moderately young but not nec. Green horse a well schooled older mount could teach her volumes. She doesnt nec need to sell her ponies she can continue her time with them at liberty and through harmess training. Just my 2 cents and my opinion.
Harlow needs to learn that it's not just about riding. I agree strongly with Raleigh, Harlow is way to tall for Cloudy, and Harlow made a video once about popcorn not jumping the same as he used to. Maybe because he's in pain? She needs to actually listen to her horses behaviour. She also made a video where someone asked her "Who is the spiciest horse you have ever ridden?" and Harlow, without hesitation, says popcorn. Again, she needs to listen to her horses behaviours, he is clearly in pain if he's bucking or not listening to her. Someone needs to tell this girl its not just about her, but it's all about the horse and how they feel. I will be honest, not all of this is Harlows fault, in fact, most of it isn't at all, it's mainly her trainers and parents fault. Remember the time her trainer was making her see-saw with the reins? I'm not trying to hate on her, because, yes, she is 11, but that doesn't mean that Raleigh isn't wrong.

Harlow is a light weight and very very balanced rider. She is able to ride very many pony's and she does a Greta job. This raleigh is meant to be a role model not a bully. To me it’s more about the weight of the rider, a tall light rider might look a bit silly but still be fine for a pony, whereas a heavy rider would be too much. Also, Shetland racing over here is almost always ridden by kids Harlows size.
I agree, but to me it’s also about height as well on them. I guess height is a bigger deal in mounted games (because we are leaning off to grab objects at high speeds) it’s not easy on their shoulders.
I agree with this so much. I was thinking about buying a 14.3 hh horse and my friend was going at me about how the horse is too small and I’d be way too tall. It’s like as long as I’m not too heavy it’s fine
I know you might like harlow a lot but raleigh says multiple times that they arent hate. She cares about horses and harlow. She doesn’t tthink children belong on youtube which is true and she also states that she only cares about the wellfare of her horses. She doesn’t want her ponies to get back injuries. Cloud is mainly her brother's pony now and she only rides him every once and a while. The Shetland races that they do has many restrictions one of them being weight, they wouldn't allow her to race if she was too heavy for Cloud.

shes not too big for rolo. 13hh is the reccomended height for teens and young adults, and harlow isnt even a teenager yet so she suits a 12hh horse fine. even for cloudy, shes 2 inches under the height limit for racing, and she gave him to her brother anyway. sorry if it sounds rude but its true

@@catcat090 Raighle isn't an amazing rider and for the longest time she blamed her inability to ride on her ankle injury that had long since healed. (An injured ankle has nothing to do with balance and correct posting) I've never been that impressed with Link, his training is mid and he does lack alot of muscle tone. The Friesian she rides wasn't trained by her... In my mind the reason she decided to only post her riding videos on patron is because she'll look less like a hypocrite as she judges everyone else's riding and they can't see hers. 👀 Whenever she used to post videos on CZcams of her riding she'd always bring up an injury to explain away why her riding wasn't perfect instead of admitting that she's still learning to ride properly.

It’s her parents and the riding instructor who should know better. I don’t know about the family but from what I’ve heard the mother used to be an equestrian as well so she should definitely know better.

I think this is so wrong it doesn’t matter of her height either she’s saying she’s to big for cloudy and rolo ect but it’s her weight she’s clearly light enough for her horses to carry otherwise her horses would be acting up and Harlow shouldn’t have to go through this she is almost 12 and it’s just not fair if you were a 12 year old and you had an adult an ADULT hating on you. The surposed abuse can still be changed and she has a new coach because she clearly stood up and didn’t want to hurt her ponies so she changed coach and she has improved lots ❤

I’m an equestrian, I don’t know either of them, but if at 11 years old is riding ponies there is a problem, I started riding horses at 11 years old, keep in mind horses are not ponies, ponies can be ride at 4-9 years old, no more they are creatures, and they can’t hold so much, so if Harlow see these, please stop riding ponies I am not hating, but remember horses have feelings, and go in the place of that pony, ponies are ponies they are not horses that can hold really many kg

I think alot of people don't realize that adults ride ponys all the time. Adults have to train ponys so kids can ride them. Let's stop attacking children and focus of getting horses and ponys out of situations of real abuse.
@EquinewithJesus Yes, I do think it's better if we only have people within 20 percent ride a pony/horse. But sometimes, it's not possible. So, instead, the rides should be very short and infrequent. Untill the pony/horse is trained enough for a smaller rider. ❤️❤️
I really dislike the fact that Harlow was trying to stand up for herself against Raleigh and there are a bunch of hateful and rude comments about her, her trainers and her Mom. Harlow is not abusing Cloudy. She is under the weight requirement and that’s all that matters. In one of her recent videos she states that she will not be riding cloudy anymore and then it’s just solely Harlen. Harlow is a 12-year-old child. She does not deserve to be treated like this. It is not fair to her and her family just because you don’t like something that someone else does doesn’t mean that you have to criticize her on every little thing she does that you don’t like. Harlow is an amazing rider and she has come so far from her beginner days. she is not perfect and no one is. It is not fair to be hating on a 12year old. You might not like something she does but that doesn’t mean you need to hate on her. she is a 12 year old girl if she doesn’t do some thing exactly how you would do it that doesn’t mean she’s bad at it. It just mean she does things differently. I don’t get why everyone feels the need to comment and constantly put her down. She is doing the best with what she has. I am a advanced horse rider. Harlow shouldn't get that hate. If she loves it she can do it and she doesn't ride the little ones 24/7. She has panda now. I have watched Harlow for years and I have got so inspired I even tried English and I loved it. I even got over that fear of cantering without the lunge line because of her. I love Harlow so much and all of her horses. She really shouldn't be getting this hate.

Raleigh isn’t telling her to stop riding, she’s saying she needs a bigger horse because she’s too big for Cloudy. When I was Harlow’s age (11) I was riding full sized horses, not shetland ponies. Her parents and riding instructor should know better.

(When I was 19 I weighed 90ps and now I'm 20 and weigh 115ps, just because I may look too big doesn't mean I am too big) Not to mention there's been two recent studies on weight carry that both stated a well built horse who's fit and conditioned can carry even 30% before they even start to show signs of discomfort.
There are a lot of comments going on and on about the 20% rule, their blindly assuming Harlow weighs over 20% of the horses weight. Of course you can make very rough estimates about someone’s weight based on their height and physique but you can never be absolutely certain that someone weighs too much for their horse unless you actually weigh the person. In my opinion Harlow is not too heavy to ride her ponies, nor is she too tall to, as she comes off as someone who really cares about her ponies well-being’s. Of course at some point or another she will outgrow her ponies and have to buy taller ponies or horses but currently she is easily able to ride her ponies without causing harm to them or herself.
@@whitenoize6451 you do realise that the tack does not weigh insane amounts? The average English saddle weighs in between 4kg-11kg, while lighter jumping saddles come in at anywhere between 4-7kg. This, alongside the weight of the child, which is LESS than 20% of the horses weight, would most likely amount to just a little under, over or exactly 20% of the horses weight.
This little girl may be tall but she looks really light so I doubt it's causing the ponies any harm. Unless it's a person who is way too heavy for a horse or pony I don't see the problem.

As someone who's going to go to vet school, having a degree in Vet medicine doesn't make you qualified to speak on any of the topics I mentioned above. You need to take separate courses after vet school for those.

A few things I’ve noticed that has outed her credibility 100% is if you look up the websites she uses they don’t exist or are non pier reviewed sources which probably means they are untrue or opinions some random person wrote. Yeah, apparently she lied about being in vet school. Some people could prove that she neither attends the vet schools for which she doesn't have to travel nor is it time-wise possible for her to attend schools further away. And satellite/online schooling isn't really possible for vet school. She has also claimed to have been a professional trainer since she was 9. I don't think I have to even comment on that
I love them, Harlow is still a child and she's going to make mistakes as she continues down her path of being an equestrian as everyone does. Alot of the mistakes she has made aren't her fault but the adults around her giving her bad lessons/tips and to blame her over them is wrong on so many levels. Any person who goes after beginners or those still learning should be ashamed of themselves.

There was a real issue with DaybyDay when Raleigh put the spotlight on them and I do think that was responsible and appropriate. Harlow, on the other hand-while she makes some mistakes, like all young equestrians-is likely doing better than the majority of horsey children her age.

Its because you def look too big to be riding that pony. The 20% rule is there for the horses safety. If you cared about your pony, you would make sure you're withing 20% of her weight before riding the pony. This isnt coming from a place of hate, I have just seen too many ponies develope back issues later on because people too big to be riding them are riding them.
*20% for a Shetland is 80-90ps, and for her other pony Popcorn who's 12hs is 100-160ps.*

I know nothing about this girl her family etc. Watching her ride she seems an accomplished rider. I am 65 now but competed in barrel racing, showmanship, trail, english equitation Hunter Jumper and finally dressage to 4th level and worked drafts in harness to cart and pulling logs on backyard horses and was placed over many well bred imported horses whos family had a ton more money than i did. I also competed in pony club to the A level and trained my own horses. As a general rule. Once your heel/ankle drops below the ponies belly you are too tall for that pony. If you think about it correct heel leg position HAS TO BE CORRECT so your horse feels your leg cues. If your ankle/heel is below the belly you are having to pull your leg up and back thereby pinching with your knees ruining your seat and probably confusing your horse by doing so. Also will change your hand position which changes your contact with the horses mouth. Usually bringing their head up as well to stay on the bit but this drops the back that your sitting on. I can here Raleigh frustration in her tone. She is technically and functionaly correct in that this young lady has outgrown her ponies and as she appears accomplished to ride a moderately young but not nec. Green horse a well schooled older mount could teach her volumes. She doesnt nec need to sell her ponies she can continue her time with them at liberty and through harmess training.

Harlow needs to learn that it's not just about riding. I agree strongly with Raleigh, Harlow is way to tall for Cloudy, and Harlow made a video once about popcorn not jumping the same as he used to. Maybe because he's in pain? She needs to actually listen to her horses behaviour. She also made a video where someone asked her "Who is the spiciest horse you have ever ridden?" and Harlow, without hesitation, says popcorn. Again, she needs to listen to her horses behaviours, he is clearly in pain if he's bucking or not listening to her. Someone needs to tell this girl its not just about her, but it's all about the horse and how they feel. I will be honest, not all of this is Harlows fault, in fact, most of it isn't at all, it's mainly her trainers and parents fault. Remember the time her trainer was making her see-saw with the reins? I'm not trying to hate on her, because, yes, she is 11, but that doesn't mean that Raleigh isn't wrong.

Idk if you've ever been around horses but it is normal for horses to be spicy every once and a while, and for a child who's only ridden her on horses and her trainers she's not that exposed to actual spicey horses. Because again she's a child who's still learning.

To me it’s more about the weight of the rider, a tall light rider might look a bit silly but still be fine for a pony, whereas a heavy rider would be too much. Also, Shetland racing over here is almost always ridden by kids Harlows size.

I know you might like harlow a lot but raleigh says multiple times that they arent hate. She cares about horses and harlow. To be honest i agree with both cause Harlow is definitely to big to be riding Cloudy although Harlow doens't weight that much but soon she is going to be to heavy and just a reminder Cloudy is an SHETLAND pony so those pony's can't realy have more then 110 lb. Cloud is mainly her brother's pony now and she only rides him every once and a while.
The Shetland races that they do has many restrictions one of them being weight, they wouldn't allow her to race if she was too heavy for Cloud.

That’s not always true think about real horse races a lot of horses go in without getting checked for medical issues.
You also know they do this with every Shetland pony race, and the restrictions aren’t that strict.

I think alot of people don't realize that adults ride ponys all the time. Adults have to train ponys so kids can ride them. Let's stop attacking children and focus of getting horses and ponys out of situations of real abuse.
Even so, it's abusive to the ponies and a lot of people train ponies without riding them as well as letting younger kids ride them.

I really dislike the fact that Harlow was trying to stand up for herself against Raleigh and there are a bunch of hateful and rude comments about her, her trainers and her Mom. Harlow is not abusing Cloudy. She is under the weight requirement and that’s all that matters. In one of her recent videos she states that she will not be riding cloudy anymore and then it’s just solely Harlen. Harlow is a 12-year-old child. She does not deserve to be treated like this. It's honestly so disappointing people are out here shaming a child about them being too "big or heavy" for riding ponies when literal adults fit into the 20%-30% of them.
(When I was 19 I weighed 90ps and now I'm 20 and weigh 115ps, just because I may look too big doesn't mean I am too big)
Not to mention there's been two recent studies on weight carry that both stated a well built horse who's fit and conditioned can carry even 30% before they even start to show signs of discomfort.

There are a lot of comments going on and on about the 20% rule, their blindly assuming Harlow weighs over 20% of the horses weight. Of course you can make very rough estimates about someone’s weight based on their height and physique but you can never be absolutely certain that someone weighs too much for their horse unless you actually weigh the person. In my opinion Harlow is not too heavy to ride her ponies, nor is she too tall to, as she comes off as someone who really cares about her ponies well-being’s. Of course at some point or another she will outgrow her ponies and have to buy taller ponies or horses but currently she is easily able to ride her ponies without causing harm to them or herself.

@@whitenoize6451 you do realise that the tack does not weigh insane amounts? The average English saddle weighs in between 4kg-11kg, while lighter jumping saddles come in at anywhere between 4-7kg. This, alongside the weight of the child, which is LESS than 20% of the horses weight, would most likely amount to just a little under, over or exactly 20% of the horses weight.

A few things I’ve noticed that has outed her credibility 100% is if you look up the websites she uses they don’t exist or are non pier reviewed sources which probably means they are untrue or opinions some random person wrote. I finished vet school she’s BSing 90% of the time the Arabian video is 100% untrue they are not brachycephalic in the slightest she doesn’t even know what that means she doesn’t have the certification to even say that I’m honestly terrified that she is becoming a vet I’m an older equestrian been around for quite sometime now I rescue horses and am trained in large small and exotic animal veterinary medicine and honestly she doesn’t say much that’s trustworthy or factual ever she has a lot to say on grounds she has no business touching on she says she’s getting a vet degree in large animal care and then makes a video on dogs when she knows absolutely nothing about pitbulls I have a vet degree in large small and exotic veterinary medicine I’m a specialist I don’t agree with a single thing she says she needs to shut her mouth and be nocked down a couple pegs she’s not gonna get a job because no vet is gonna watch her bully an 11 year old and hire her I sure wouldn’t all her sources are BS if she even links them which she rarely does which leads me to believe it’s a screenshot from a doc she made so I wouldn’t trust her ask a real vet and don’t listen to anything that woman has to say she knows nothing
Right!? She says I’m in vet school for an animal that’s not a dog. Then goes on to say a professional dog trainer with 30 years of experience knows nothing about how to train dogs. The videos Cesar Milan made helped my dog not be reactive anymore. She knows nothing about dogs and is full of bs.

Yeah, apparently she lied about being in vet school. Some people could prove that she neither attends the vet schools for which she doesn't have to travel nor is it time-wise possible for her to attend schools further away. And satellite/online schooling isn't really possible for vet school.
She has also claimed to have been a professional trainer since she was 9. I don't think I have to even comment on that

I love them, Harlow is still a child and she's going to make mistakes as she continues down her path of being an equestrian as everyone does.
Alot of the mistakes she has made aren't her fault but the adults around her giving her bad lessons/tips and to blame her over them is wrong on so many levels. Any person who goes after beginners or those still learning should be ashamed of themselves.
Raleigh needs to stop and carry on with her life and let Harlow do what she wants !

@@MagdalenaKirkns I live on a century farm. Horses have been in the family for centuries, we've used them for farm work for all those years, and we have good ties with the Amish, and buy horses from them. Trust me, this random adult who *claims* to be a vet doesn't know shit.

Raleigh said nothing about Harlow all the things Raleigh said we’re about the parents and trainer, do research. And also, yes Harlow is WAY to big for those ponies and keeps her reins a bit to short
raleigh wasnt hating on harlow, all her videos on harlow are mostly talking about harlows mom and trainer. she never goes after harlow, due to harlow being a child and always critisises (idk if i spelt that right soz) the adults who are letting her ride ponies

Dude you took it out of context. She blamed it on the trainer and her MOTHER. Her mother is nasty. She just spoils her to keep Harlow quiet. When she fell off cloudy and broke her arm, the mom kept videoing. Who in their right mind would do that. Raleigh was completely right. She was way over the 20% rule and was way too big for cloudy. I’m glad she stopped riding him. You need to stop. You’re proving how blind her fans were. Those videos weren’t nasty, she wasn’t saying Harlow was fat, she was just saying she too big for him. She’s a 10 y/o riding a Shetland that’s like- 1/4 of her size. And grow up that like two years ago. It was never hate and it never will be. This is the truth. You need to stop.
