Current hairstyle I'm rocking atm. But i like to shave the bottom of the back and sides to a 1 to make it more edgy, for that hard constrast between long hair then skin exposure.

Been watching loads of these vids and really like how in depth n care he takes in his haircuts then realised I was fairly close to the shop so thought Iâll check out then I clocked itâs ÂŁ80 for a trim đđđ a days wage on a trim
Yeah definitely not for everyone. Dan has built up a clientele over his 20 years in barbering that allows him to charge that. He also only works Thursday to Saturday. Plenty of amazing barbers in London if ÂŁ80 isn't for you! Check out Kem at Cuts and Bruises, Richard Tucker at Ruffians, Ben Vowles at Murdock, Nick Barford at Nomad. I love the old school effect you created with the back and sides where the top half of the back and sides were long , and the bottom half of the back and sides were shaved. How would I ask my barber to do this to my back and sides? Is there a certain name for the effect?
Whenever I show my barber a picture of something similar to this, they're never able to recreate this style for some reason, they just end up shaving my sides still.
Don't even bother with an old school barber, they bitch too much. I would know, I specialize in vintage mens cuts. Go to a modern barber or salonist for this cut

Do it! Seriously who stops you. You could kind of try it out by tucking in your longer hair at the back and only cut a little fringe in the front to see if you generally like the direction this goes. And if you do: go for it.
