Yami prolly would have just given him a smile and a good job but inside he probably was experiencing one of the biggest moments of pride in his squad

Say what you want but imo this fight is the one of the biggest Ws taken in Shounen history, seriously a character we all loved but knew wasn't that strong came back from 6 months and a week of constant studying and work and had it all pay off in one beautifully explosive moment where he takes down someone no one would've thought possible for him. And the best part NO CLIFFHANGER BS TOOK HIS WIN AWAY
Shounen needs more fights like this and characters like Magna who take what little they have and actually manage to go all the way with it.

The best thing aswell is it wasnt some bullshit reason. The dude studied and came up with the perfect spell for him that allows the tables to be even and just have an old fashion fist fight which suits his character so well.

And it’s not in a bullshit way either! Magna studied and worked hard to make a singular spell that has a long ass cooldown that doesn’t even make it a insta win spell but it does level the playing field!
Magna is my 3 favorite bull (behind asta and yami) and when these chapters came out I don’t think I have ever popped off so much reading a manga. This is one of the best fights I have ever seen in a manga and you did such an outstanding job on this, thank you for your work!
Seriously this might just be my favourite fight in the entire manga and one of my favourite fights of all time. Also respect for having Magna at 3rd of the Bulls as someone who has him 2nd only to Asta. W

This is the best way to make a character that got power crept relevant, either they have a new technique that has a prep time of literal months, or have them have a very good ability match up with the opponent.

Best fight in Black Clover, Magna is one of the most underrated characters. He's not a royal like Noelle, he doesn't have the best grimoire like Asta, BUT SHEER FUCKING WILL

i couldn't even think that someone like magna would sit and study some magic circles and runes for six month(he was only studying whole six month, nothing else). dude took knowledge is power to whole new level. with just studying he defeated man from dark triad with most powerfull devil's powers(lucifero) with fists.
Such an inspired way to make Magne's character relevant again, without some outside, unknown factor magically making him more powerful
This has got to be the greatest Punch Out I've ever seen in mangas.
Magna is a Chad for real, an underdog who made the best damn one way trick to level the plain field.

10000000% the best fight in all of Black Clover. The most unexpected matchup in shonen history and possibly the biggest dub. No cliffhanger as well just shows that Magna is on business to show that he the best.
Black Clover I feel is one of the best animes for power creep. Everyone stayed relevant in some way. That is amazing

i thing that the soul chain death match can evolve even more, since when dante ran out of magic magna also did even thought dante was using more of that magic, so it was constantly adding both magics and dividing by 2, which means that he can either use all the magic fast to go to a hand to hand fight early, or reduce that to only one time and fight more efficiently so he will be the only one who still have magic
also he can bring a real blade even if its a short one, so he will have a huge advantage when its a fight without magic

Zora and Magna are both peasants so their magic should be lagging behind the others at all times. But they're the only two (off the top of my head) who's attacks can scale to their opponent.
For character's like Noelle with ultimate magic and very briefly a spirit they're able to stack up multiplier after multiplier and Mereoleona can multiply her strength as the fight goes on. What would happen if more peasants were taught secret magic?

While watching the anime and eventually reading the manga I got quite disappointed with Magna , because he didn't have any growth , like the other characters . I wanted to see more of him , but there wasn't any , since he was weak , but everything changed after this fight . While reading it I put on the first opening of the anime and oh boy , perfection MY BOY IS SO BACK IN THE GAME
No tricks here just a straight up fist fight.
Also fun fact asta with zetten is 3-15 billion times the speed of light(I got this fact from a power scaling video on how fast asta is)

I respect magna for his efforts and he completely won, but if it wasn't for Dante being a stupid who wastes his mana with no magic experience magna wouldn't stand a chance since the big amount of mana has no meaning if you can't control it well and this goes for both magna and Dante.
It's like a fight with two idiots who have a 9 star mage mana capacity, but can only use 1 star spells.
