Hey Glen ! You are the best in keyboard presentation and review . This i500 sounds good. I do have a Roland E09IN , Indian edition with more tabla styles and desi , bhajan and many more styles. The Roland IN was the first keyboard to introduce classical and raga styles .When this classical style is on and you change the chord with your left hand , the tabla and tanpura changes the pitch according to that chord progression. I've noticed that the different keyboards have quality sounds in their own special way. I am talking about only Yamaha , Roland and Korg. I also have a 76 key Yamaha dgx 230 but it doesn't have any Indian styles and Unable to download an Indian pack. There's no usb storage or sd card slot, only usb connectivity. I would love to buy this i500 and play it together with my Roland e09 IN. I am from South Africa and to get me one of those is gonna cost me more than double the price in our currency (Rands). I suspect price fixing of musical instruments here in S.A . Even after shipping , I don't think it would cost that much considering that our retailers or dealers here in S.A either have free shipping or minimal shipping charges. It is a bit risky to obtain via Fedex or DHL. I would appreciate your feedback. Thank you for your wonderful presentation .👍👍👍🎹🎹🎹
Please do tutorial videos of different functions of i500 for beginners....like registering memory,connecting to computer and everything....please do those type video tutorials...it will help beginners like me a lot....
I455 & i500 Drawback is.. while playing indian rhythm tabla . Accomp is not included in this feature ... Other wise good ... Tone quality is pure acoustic..
I have purchased one recently but seen that we could hardly hear sound into master volume is set more than 1/4 of total volume. Not sure if I am missing anything
I have been using this since 4+ years and do not have a single complaint yamaha quality is whey better than any other keyboards ... But yes the speakers have to be improved 😊😊

Roland E09 is definitely better. Better bass and bass changes on one man band. Sound quality is higher than the Korg pa series when amplified by a sound or pa system.
@Nisha The Pianist first name sure you are adding the instrumental progressions in C major scale. By default any part other than rhy1,2 ie chords, pads, phrases will be set to C major. If you want to play in different scale, you should change its parameters. Just select the root note to the scale in which you have played

Both of them is good. For more function gor for casio and for good quality of keys, voices and some extra indian rhythms go for Yamaha.
