eden itself is truly not that bad, the real bad time is recollecting all those dumb winged lights
I think for the sake of my sanity, I will probably just skip out on getting any difficult to get winged light AHEM graveyard and battle field winged light AHEM
i have like, 8? winged light, and its not a lot but it makes traveling for me so much easier, and its such a pain to go through to get them 😭 i really dont want to do this quest ahaha aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
@Emosandal trials are the bain of my existence and some of the realm ones, too. They should have made going to eden the final quest.

I just did this quest today, and I was not pleased when I realized I had to do Eden again. I kept looking from the gate to the Steward going “Really? Now? Really?!”
My reflexes going "ain't no way" after they turn the camera to the Eden
My only issue is collecting those winged lights 🙂
I kinda hate that we have to do the eye of Eden all over again just for this quest. It’s just inconvenient for those who hate going to Eden 😭
I refuse to go. I don't want to go eden. I used to go every week since Sky's release on the Switch, I got burnt out doing it after 6 months so last year I decided to stop going. It's time consuming, I hate the crawling mechanic and doing the wlr after is a chore. I only went couple of weeks ago just to collect wing buffs as I hadn't been since February. I'm under the impression that if I don't complete this season, I won't be able to participate in the event that happens at the end. So my choice of not completing this season feels like a punishment. Isn't this area supposed to be the new main area too? So I will miss out on this until I feel like going Eden. I left feedback on the Sky Discord server about it, anyone else with similar thoughts should leave feedback. This is really making me consider quitting Sky.
@lecojoda honestly i understand you cause I rarely go eden, especially now that we can get ac from red shards. But I heard that this season would sort of be a tutorial for new sky kids so it makes sense that they are putting it in. Pretty sure most sky kids were so confused the 1st time we went to eden😂

@@ngfiona4958 Red shards have helped massively. Yeah this will be the new intro to the game for new players, I think. I understand why TGC are doing it, but can't TGC just give those that have completed eden in the past an option to skip it and just complete the quest? There's nothing new added during the trip to eden, only the cutscene.
I've found ways to basically just 'immediately skip to the statues' bit ... and it's made it less tedious... Every time I go through I've gotten better. Last time I did it I got 60/63 statues, got 16 candles since I watched the cutscene.
You know what's weird? The chillest way to do Eden is to do it twice a week. I know this sounds insane, but the reason it works is that it takes off the pressure for you to get EVERY WL and do ALL the things every Eden run. You can dedicate yiur first run to doing the things that zigzag off the beaten path, and then do the second run as a straight shot, and you'll wind up going much deeper and doing more things than you could before. It sounds so strange to say that the cure for Eden-anxiety is MOAR Eden runs, but it really does work.
I’m going to take this advice until I can easily do the third area 😅 The first two are a cake walk, but the third, that thing is a pain
I mean... Yeah? If you wish to get rid of your fear or Eden, all you need is to do is to do Eden very often, I don't fear Eden because I always go there every single week and usually get 15.5 ascended candles 😅
Thing is, Eden is a once a week thing. Resets ascended candles every sunday.

It's just a lot more unnecessary wasted effort, time and thought spent on extra trips taken when you could just get all you can and not worry about it for the rest of the week. To me, that takes a lot more pressure off. Though ig everyone has their own way they prefer.
after being dragged through eden every week by my sis who was obsessed over getting the tallest height during my first two months of playing, eden is almost like, my backyard now lol. ironically im still scared of wasteland kekw

As a month old moth I've been to eden only once and was planning to go to eden cause I don't have any AC left but today I got little prince last quest and now this quest too! I'm lucky I'll be finishing all of these in one go😂

My friend is in this conundrum. i wondered if it would break the game to to Eden the 1st time and have to both meet the Prince AND this.
or do you not meet the guide of this season there, cuz you WILL meet the Prince in Eden and go thru w/him.

… but I absolutely hate getting all the WL back… as a solo player it’s kinda boring and takes the fun outta the game

I’ve been missing ONE for like 4 months. It just refuses to show up, but even before the update sanctuary bugs, my game has been glitches in most realms but Isle and wasteland even b4 that Eden is glitched to do i won’t do as last time i did it, it dropped me at the very end after last statue to light n I only got FIVE REDS for (if i went thru now) all the WL i had to recollect, so i haven’t done it in so long, I enough to have my 12th wedge and (FROM RED SHARDS), buy most every elder item in each realm.
Maybe if the game wasn’t always so glitchy, I’d have confidence to say FORCING Eden on ppl was ok. Probably NOT tho. Once you do it who cares, if you like me and have no need to PROVE I’m a veteran w/12 wedges elder attire or even older season items…so i can sit n make others do all the work.

Once you know where the winged lights are it's a tad easier. I hate getting the trial ones. Apart from trial of water I've only done the others once
@@hells-bells900 Earth has a very easy shortcut, air gets easier the more you do it, and fire has a.. somewhat annoying shortcut and you can use candle rocket to avoid dying.

eden isn’t bad, i hate doing it bc of that long part at the end when you’re flying through everything, it’s beautiful but so long and takes forever, plus there’s not much for me to doing during it. i wish i could skip it.

When I found out we had to go to eden for a quest I was actually planning on going already so I've just been holding off for this whole season to go lol. Should get to 200 wings when im done collecting 💪🏽
After hitting level 11, and knocking at the door of 12, Eden started feeling more and more like a chore, but for the sake of finishing the season, and collecting more precious heart currency, I'll put up with another winged light run 😅😢

the sobbing i had..when i just finished my eden run (i needed ascended candles) a day before reset..then got my wings back,,then had to do it again after reset hahahahahahaha..im in pain

I wish going to Eden had more impact on the village than just spirits appearing. Currently the biggest impact was the change of atmosphere for the previous quest, so going to Eden just for this feels kinda.. lackluster? I lowkey regret not spoiling myself and not waiting until next week. I wish they added an option to set it as the home space as a reward.
I also wish they made it so a swarm of blue sparks follow us in Orbit to the portal after we've done Eden with this quest, and that landing would be in Aviary. Hope would watch us fall in a cutscene, then run up to us, as if scared that we are hurt, and then stand timidly just a step from us. Then we turn in the quest, they hug us and we watch the spirits fall from the skies. Then Hope offers us a hand, and leads us to the Aviary, and then they run up to the white candle and look at us, and a hint says something like "Do you wish to make this place your home?". At least this would have made me cry.
This journey was so much fun! I made new friends over there ❤

I've always wondered where the spirits go when you help them, and I was so sad because I thought you would just keep reliving there memories and reliving them, but it's nice to know they are still kind of alive in the village :)

It would be one thing if after this Eden quest, since you activate the village, you would be reborn in the Avairy village at least after this quest.
Then just go to the old home till the end of the season where supposedly you get to choose between the two…?
But no you go back to old home.
Which was a little bit of a let down to be honest.

I've spent like, half a year or more AVOIDING the Eye of Eden. Heard too many stories about how scary and hard it is plus loosing your light that I just refused to go.
Now I'm happy to say that I have. Once you confirmed I had to finish the game, I stopped the video, and made the terrifying journey. Luckily for me I found other players who were really nice and let me tag along and helped me and other moths we/they found.
So thanks again for making this video, I finally got the courage to finish the game!
On this quest I actually wound up helping out and becoming friends with a little moth.. As a returning veteran (was gone for like 4 seasons!) I forgot how sweet those guys are. He was super grateful to have someone helping him out- I actually met him when he was standing by the stairs with the krills, too scared to keep going.
I think that's the spirit of this quest. For those of us who don't like to go to eden, it's a reminder to spread your light as far as possible- not only to the in game spirits, but to other skykids as well.
And isn't that the joy of the whole game?
Yeah, I don't think tgc should be dragging us to eden for an event. But it does add to the depth and importance of rejuvenating the aviary village, and i think that's really cool.

I played Sky-cotl for almost a year now, still remember my first Eden run. I refused to go in immediately, took some time to research and plan. Then after a week to pick up my courage level, I went into Eden.
I was lucky, the other players who was also in Eden all helped. There is at least 7 people, including me. We grouped up and did the Eden run together.
Eden is still scary to me, but I no longer fear to go in and see it to the end.
I was scared if all my light getting taken away due to the quest, but you still had yours. This makes me unsure 😭

ive been playing since little prince (switch release) and i use to love this game but after aurora the game took a turn for the worst
i got like $500 into the game and i think after this season im done with it since its nothing but a cash grab anymore plus its been so buggy and laggy that its unplayable at times even on ps5/pc plus everything good (meaning the concert/stuff thats never returning) is now gone for new players unless they make friends who has the cape/item/spells
i have 100% everything except a few ts/bonus items and honestly i dont even wanna wait to finish them
i made it to 12 wings/100% everything so i got the most out of the game already
yeah it sucks i put that much into the game but i got to meet some awesome people even found someone who lives close enough to hang out with someday so theres that

I used that method for little prince a while ago and it worked there... but yeah, it was a different type of quest...

Quick question out of curiosity: You mentioned during the video when you did Eden that you wished you brought an elder mask. I know that it prevents a krill hit once, how is it beneficial at Eden? Do you get less damage from shards?
I'm pretty sure it protects you from rock hits as well!
You can tank a few rock hits with them :)

I just started playing this game recently and I thought to myself “I should finish the game before doing the extra seasonal content as that’s just extra stuff” so I played through the entire game, including eden, and after I did that I went to go do the seasonal quests and got hit with the “Do eden!” after I had JUST done it 😭
I just got to the Eye of Eden yesterday and my winged level 10 only 😢
man, I really don't want to do this quest. I've only ever done one eden run since I started playing, shame to let go of that streak. I love going to eden just for fun but I never go past the point of no return.
You get so many more winged light if you do. I haven’t collected any winged light yet after my ascension an hour ago and I already have 8 cape wedges just from spirits saved. Good luck on your Eden run buddy

My biggest gripe about getting forced to do an a Even run is how the game makes you first around waiting for other players once you've finished. Just because they were in Eden when I was doesn't make them my pals and make me want to stop everything and wait foreverrrrr for them to die. F#$k I hate that.

Well I did Eden again for the third time and now that ive got a decent amount of wings unlocked it wasn't nearly as bad as I had imagined/rememembered. The worse part is the last krill and recollecting all the light again afterwards.

Eden really isn't too terrible per se, but recollecting wing light afterward is terrible. There are some really good guides on YT to help you complete Eden solo & still get the most out of it.
@@NoNames-vw3bq I actually managed to do it on my second attempt! Attempt one had me wingless, all the way down on the ground, utterly lost with kills circling me. Not fun 😭 recollecting WLs and trying to remember where they are is definitely annoying
@@tsundereyoongi3869 my first complete trip through Eden I went with two other people & one of them held my sky kid's hand for about half of it. Before I went all the way through, I went in alone 2-3 times & got myself to the point of no return without losing wings. I watched a couple of guide videos to see what it would be like & how other players went through it. Then I used a really helpful guide for solo players that showed me a good route for saving the statues & even though I haven't been able to save all the statues I was able to reach the final part (where it hails much more) without losing any wings other than what I gave to the statues. Caution is good in this game, sit somewhere safe & watch for a minute to see movement patterns/paths/timing of both krill & hail stones. I know there are guides for collecting wing light but I haven't really used any, and yes getting them all back is such a chore.
