Fun fold cards are always a hit, especially when they offer versatility like this one. Using die-cut or punched-out pieces to create a shaped edge adds a lovely touch to the card design. I have lots of tips to make it the easy way in the video.

Cut and emboss folders like that are the bees knees. The only one I have is that hearts version that came out before St. Valentine’s Day, but it inspired me to send valentines for the first time since I was a kid. These cards look like they were such fun to make! 😊

I love the simplicity of only using cardstock/stamps. I have often made this design, but using double sided papers so that both sides are showcased. However, this is a quick and simple way to use just paper and stamps (and die cuts if wished). Also love using "dot" stamping on most all my cards/envelopes. It really does add a lost of texture and interest to what would otherwise be an ordinary "flat" design. THANKS so much for your fun posts!! Now, I am off to make a card or two...

@@SunnyDayStamping I have an older SU stamp set that I bought secondhand that has sand and starfish in it. But I bought the embossing folders and dies for this. So I’m going to take your advice to use what I have. It won’t be exactly the same, but I’m sure it will be nice.
