    7 years using serum and I never really understood what those bars in the wavetable editor were, but now I know! thanks

    Wow! Mind blown. Best sub making process I've seen. Looks simple once you see it being done but I wouldn't have come up with that. Brilliant honestly

    That random phase should also be turned off for phase issues with the kick

    I don't understand what the point of having two tables was if you're not morphing the WT position toggle. and what does FM from B do. Sorry a bit lost at the end there

    wicked tutorial, but I'm having a problem with copying the preset to osc B, even though I have saved it to my user folder? it seems to work when I use it on osc A when I put it in, any idea why this is happening?

    • @Skwerzmernerpl
      @Skwerzmernerpl Před rokem +1

      In the options menu there's the option to copy osc A -> B or vice-versa, but there's also the option there to reread files on disc or something like that for if your presets/WTs aren't showing up as they should.

    How do I get rid of the click that is slightly present upon triggering a note?

    • @Teddy0567
      @Teddy0567 Před rokem +3

      increase the attack in the envelope (bottom left). around 5ms should do! still still sounds like it triggers instantly but without the clicking.

  • @martinezdecap

    Hello! I followed this tutorial and everything came out sounding great, however I'm having hard time getting the sub bass in tune with my track. When I use the semitone, fine, and CRS parameters in the wavetable section to change the pitch I lose the quality of the bass sound. I slapped on an ableton pitch device but I am only able to change in semitones and I can't fine tune it. Any other suggestions?

    • @Zildawolf
      @Zildawolf Před 2 lety +1

      Shift everything up a lil (like maybe an octave or so) and see if the sub still sounds out of tune. Cant say whether this is the case for you as well, but i know I have a habit of thinking a note is flatter than it is when it’s in the sub range.
      Also quick tip u don’t gotta save each wavetable to copy it over, there’s an option in the list that appears when you click the ‘menu’ button on the top right that literally says “copy osc a > osc b” lol
