A lot of the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints holds Mondays as family day. So you’ll find a lot of places closed Monday or Monday evenings as well as Sundays of course
Also a lot of small business workers try to give their employees a two day weekend.

Utah is beautiful country!! I just giggled when you were so excited about the cowboys working the cows. I'm from cow country (South Dakota) so I forget that a lot of people don't get to see that everyday. lol Sending you lots of prays for little Gizmo and your family. It's hard to lose a fur baby who's so loved and a part of the family. He's crossed the Rainbow Bridge and is running, healthy and happy. Sending lots of love your way.
I used to live in the state of Nevada I lived there for 8 years, we saw cowboys all the time. the city I was in have a cowboy poem contest every year. There's a shop that sells cowboy boots, gear and stuff for the horses it's really nice shop. The cowboy hats they have are very expensive it was quite a different experience for me after being from England and that's the first time I come over here I lived in Elko Nevada. I'm in California now.
I am so sorry about Gizmo. It is never easy to lose a pet but the one nice thing about it is knowing they are not in pain anymore. My dog passed away due to pancreatitis and as much as I miss her I know she is running around pain free. I adopted another dog shortly after and another homeless dog did get a home but I will never forget her as I am sure you will not forget Gizmo.
I lived and worked in SLC for quite some time and loved it! Utah is absolutely gorgeous.
I'm in tears Becky. I am so sorry to hear about Gizmo. It's been over 10 years since I lost my precious cat, Mr. Peaches, and I still cry. My little Chihuahua mix, Lulu, is my pride and joy. She's getting old but still healthy. Thank God. My heart goes out to you and Josh. It's so hard to go through a loss.

I'm not much for the desert, the desolate parts of it kinda intimidate me, but what amazing shots you took of Arches! Now I'm intrigued to go visit. I’m so sorry you have lost your sweet Gizmo. We lost our Harley after a couple of years battling epilepsy. He was truly my heart. I could tell you were struggling in the video and as a fellow pet parent I wish I could have hugged you. You have an amazing husband and extended family. Please take care of yourself.
That pup had the best life. My son had to put down their 14 year old gentle giant Saturday before Thanksgiving. Star was a weimaraner/ pit bull mix and the best dog. It is so hard to lose our best friends, but the love lives on. My sincere condolences.

Becky, my adult son and I both broke down crying for your loss of Gizmo. We know as we are experiencing our own losses as all of our loved ones are at the older aged times of their lives. We, their human companions, who bring these beautiful souls into our lives, as family, know the depth of sorrow within our hearts and within our homes at their passing. Nothing consoles the emptiness and the heartbreak. It never will while we are here on earth. Psalm 36:6 says "Man and beast you save, Oh, LORD." He is saved, for you, with Him.

I don't really comment on a lot of videos. However I could sit and Bing watch yours all day long! I love them. I'm learning so much that I plan on applying into my life when we purchase our own land and home. So if I don't interact a lot, know I am watching and liking them.
I just wanted to say I'm so sorry for your loss Hun! I had to make the difficult decision to put mine down almost 2 years ago. She was having heart problems, and her kidneys had started shutting down. Even with medication, it wouldn't have unmodified her quality really. I know for me, I wanted to be selfish and I wanted her to stay with me forever. But I couldn't stand to see her in that pain. It does help mentally to know that they're no longer suffering. But at least for myself, it still didn't help the pain in my heart. I grieve her still. I don't think that'll ever change. She was my only friend at times. She was my best friend and I went through a lot of bad times in my life with her by my side. Our fur babies are amazing creatures that bring us so much joy and unconditional love. Gizmo was such a sweet lil thing. Always following you into the garden while you worked. He was a great buddy and I will miss seeing his cute little face in your videos. I know there isn't much anyone can say to make the pain go away. So I'm sending hugs, positivity, and love to you and your family during this time. 💜 Hugs to you all!

Awww. I’m so so sorry about your baby. I lost my 19 year old Gizmo (cat) about four years ago. This year I finally buried his ashes and his little stuffed cat he’d carry around with him. Make sure to watch over Tibro and Orbit and make sure they are dealing okay. Since they can’t voice it we sometimes forget they’re grieving too. 😢💗
