Sorry Tim, was going to buy from your link but I’m in Canada and it was another $15 for delivery.
Still appreciate your no none sense review!

Don’t worry about that at all. I’m a Canadian as well. There’s affiliate links only work for Americans anyhow, so no big deal. I’ve never had enough Canadian sales to run an affiliate paid yet for Canada but that’s coming Sunday either way. Thanks for watching my stuff.

Can this device tell you the amperage draw of an electrical device and the voltage that it’s using [and the voltage from the wall socket]?

Can you replace the battery or just throw it away when they die?

Good morning. Good job. That's a good idea on checking on things plugged into a generator. I've found that lot of tools, and portable/RV air conditioners, actually use a lot more watts/amps than advertised. Especially on start-up.

I normally use my multi-meter. Bu lately, I'm also using the Kill-A-Watt for quick and painless electrical checks. I especially like it for diagnosing OTR Microwave Ovens that clients complain about, and 110V Window Air Conditioners, and Bathroom/Kitchen GFCI's (To see if they are working properly with hair dryer, curling irons, coffee pot, and under the sink instant hot water appliances that use a lot of electricity.

Man, what a day yesterday was. I have a step counter on my smart phone. I did 11,400 steps during my Handyman work day (About 5.5 miles). Which means I did a lot of small jobs, materials shopping, back and forth to my service truck and general running around. Movement is life, A $500+ pure profit day.

Besides new appliance removals and installs, I had two locksmith jobs (complete house lock changes and re-keying); which was somewhat unusual. I had to pick the locks on one house when all keys were lost. At another house, thieves smashed the front door lock knob and sole the Realtor's Lockbox. Lately, thieves have also been stealing Ring camera door bells.

Electronic gadgets of all kinds are changing the way Handymen are getting better, faster and smarter.
